You should check their live performances! They are sick! I recommend their Kingdom performances! You will see the difference from the other groups when you see them live! Their energy and presence is crazy! Also they have one of the most difficult choreography!

Y'all should really react to, Pirate King, Hala Hala and Answer. Or their Kingdom live performances. But for other artists, you shud check out MAMAMOO (Hip,Starry night, egoistic, where are we now, or their queendom performances), Jessi (Cold Blooded, Who dat b, nunu nana, etc).
Ateez are probably one of the best dancers in kpop, y’all should do Hala Hala and the dance practice. They haven’t written a song that doesn’t work yet. Inception is another great one to do.
Along with black cat nero which is a cover song they did for immortals (a show) it’s by Turbo a legend duo in SK and the vocalist appears in the music vid as a cameo because their cover was so good turbo actually allowed them to release the redone song

*Ateez (pronunced Ay-tease) they have 8 members: Hongjoong (Leader, Rapper), Seonghwa (Oldest, Vocalist), Yunho (Main Dancer, Vocalist), Yeosang (Visual, Vocalist), San (Vocalist, Dancer), Mingi (Rapper, Dancer), Wooyoung (Dancer, Vocalist) and Jongho (Maknae and Main vocalist)…. They had set places in the group for example rap/dance/vocal but I'm not sure about them anymore bc everyone in the group can fit into those categories (someone help me w this).

ATEEZ is considered the gobal K Pop Group. That's isn't coming from ATINY (fandom name, combo of ATeez and DesTINY) this actual was given to them by one of the award shows. If you haven't checked it our yet, you should check out one or a couple of guides for ATEEZ. It will give you info that will allow you to get to know them better.
Now I found it interesting that u brought up 1D and the Jonas Bros. Now don't get me wrong these groups are just fine. However, to tell you the truth, neither one of those groups can touch any k pop group. The reason I say that is because in America and in the U.K. the music industry are just interested in music that is catchy with a cute face singing the songs. In Korea, idols train for years, singing, dancing, how to do an interview, hell they even study different languages like Japanese, Chinese, and yes even English.
The K pop industry make it entertaining. All groups both guy and girl groups are entertainers. When it first started a lot of groups didn't write the songs. Well the first one did, Seo Taiji and the Boys did, but that for another time....as k pop grows and the group's become more popular worldwide, the companies are taking chances on the groups. There are quite a lot that write their own songs, make the beat, composer and produce their own as well as other idols songs. Like BTS, Seventeen, MonstaX, Stray Kids, ATEEZ and many more.
I also loved the fact that you mentioned Maroon5. There are bands within k pop as well. Like N. Flying, The Rose, Day6, and a brand new band that debuted back in December called Xdinary Heros, with their debut song called "Happy Death Day."
There is so much to k pop, you guys have no idea...did you know that there are generations of k pop...and currently we are on the 4th generation. BTS is part of the 3rd, and Stray Kids, ATEEZ, TXT, ENHYPEN, ITZY, Aespa, Weeekly, (G)Idle, and so many more. And with each generation they have groups that are amazing...and k pop has gotten bigger with each generation.
If you are serious about this....all you have to do is ask for a list of groups and songs.. .there is a lot of us who would more than happy to help you out with it...there will be some you won't like, but if you keep an open mind I guarantee you will find a few groups that you will love..
Good luck gentlemen, I am sorry that I am long winded...but I just wanted to give you so info to help you understand why so many of us love k pop in general. But I'm looking forward to see how many more you will discover...I have watched many reactors start out not knowing about k pop to that's all they listen too and stan multiple groups, so let's see what happens with you.

This is that group that has it all! And I mean everything! Vocals, rap, dance, unmatched stage presence, visuals, production, song writing, personalities, just everything! They come from a small company but are treated really well and given so many promotions, albums, music videos and opportunities to appear on shows. No one can match their energy on stage. I usually prefer to watch their stage performances because their energy is insanely crazy. Plus, they are so friendly with their fans like they been best friends forever. Also, Ateez and Stray Kids competed on a show called Kingdom Legendary War and have become really close friends.

If ateez was from one of the big4 labels they would be UNTOUCHABLE. Ateez is in a league of their own, their discography is unbelievable and true masterpieces. Please dont compare them to other groups, there is no comparison. Ateez ARE the 4th Gen Leaders and Jongho one of the best vocalists in the history of kpop.
Also to let you know MINGI (the one rapping on the radio) couldn’t be present in person during this comeback or the one after that because he was still on hiatus recovery from anxiety attacks, he made his return with his group for they’re “DEJA VU” comeback.

I enjoy your reacts. I recommend Ateez song Win, Hala Hala full performance and Hala Hala 3D teaser and Thanxx. They have club banging songs like The Leaders, To The Beat, Rocky but those don't have mvs. Oh I also recommend their Kingdom stages so you can see the insane energy and vocals they have live. Kingdom always groups to lip sync but lip sync ain't in Ateez dictionary. So from Kingdom I recommend Wonderland 9th Symphony and Rhythm Ta cover. I also recommend the stage on Kingdom they did with other groups which was Exo's Growl cover. That Growl cover will be under Kingdom Mayfly (temporary group collab name) Here's the link for Rhythm Ta and the other stages may pop up when you go to this one. Oh highly recommend Ateez Black Cat Nero MV. It's also a remake.
