Exactly. I've always felt Sasuke didn't have this curse of hatred but curse of loving too much. He loved his brother too much, his parents too much, which is why Itachi's betrayal killed him emotionally. And when he found out about Itachi's sufferings and pain, he made his his brother's sufferings his own. The boy suffered so freaking much. I just wish Itachi hadn't died. 💔💔 They deserved their happy ending.

But you have to consider that much of the loss and trauma that naruto has suffered was at an age he hardly can remember Sasuke on another hand had to see his entire clan murdered by the brother he loved more than anything in the world. Also he had the curse of hated. Also he had suffered itachi tsukoyomi twice at least as a child meaning that he would at least spent in his mind “decades “ remembering and relieving that day After all that he killed itachi only to figure out literally 5 minutes later that all that happened in his childhood all that itachi has done was to protect him and save his life so he killed that brother he loved and idolised and now he is truly alone when before he wasn’t he just didn’t know that But never mind. He sees itachi again when he goes after itachi to speak to him he hears a loud “ I don’t have time for you” So i mean naruto suffered A LOT no doubt. And probably as much But Sasuke suffered in a different way. In a way that changes a person’s way. And forever scares them. So it’s really something naruto managed to bring him back because it really could have gone the other way
@The angel born in hell..Gogeta Itachi chose that path when Hiruzen would've made a difference but he desperately chose the path that would successfully guarantee Sasuke's safety. He also forced Sasuke to witness his parents death within a genjutsu hundreds of thousands of times within his Tsukuyomi. I'm not diminishing Itachi's suffering, it was heartbreaking for sure. Sasuke suffered that heartbreak along with the mental trauma that Itachi forced upon him. Sasuke lost his life in terms of what he valued. Itachi still had Sasuke. Sasuke was just a child and forced through things no one ever should. He accidentally made a monster in Sasuke who represents the reality of what we all are. We all try to be better, that's what Naruto represents, the goal we all strive for. Sasuke is inevitably the reality of who we are.
Honestly, anyone who watched the anime and didn't feel an ounce of empathy for what Sasuke went through is living wrong because he's going to have to watch the anime again
