I think it's awesome that they still make the great clock a huge part of New Year's in London! Nothing like those beautiful bells creating the anticipation for the countdown and having Big Ben toll dead on the second of the hour, so cool it's that accurate! I need to get to London some day.

That's actually pretty cool how they shoot fireworks over Big Ben as it chimes 12 midnight every year! Yes I know it's silent for a while but their still having it chime for special occasions like New Year's Eve and Remembrance Sunday! I don't know what it is 'cuz I'm an American living in Fort Worth, Texas but English is one of my major Ancestry's! 🇺🇸🇬🇧 Also my accent is Texas and Southern like.
