In this presentation from 1943 our heroes Billy Carson and Al 'Fuzzy' St. John are involved with the Pony Express and competing in a friendly rivalry with the Farrell Stagecoach Company. Unbeknownst to Tom Farrell (owner of the stage line) there are evil forces out to destroy his company because the stage company has gotten in their way! Billy and Fuzzy do not like the evil deeds being committed against their competition so they step in to help and thwart the villains. There's so much snap shooting in these old movies; nobody would have hit anything
None of the horses ever get shot.
Those bandits chasing the stage certainly had a lot of bullets in their six shooters ! I did'nt see any of them reloading as they were chasing the stage !

The action scenes are great, but how does the director account for all the shots fired during the first scene of the stagecoach robbery attempt? Man, they shot well over their six-shooter limits of ammo, while riding hard on horseback. So I ask, how the hell did they reload their six-guns, while riding hard? Even the stage driver is limited to 6 shots with his one and only six-shooter, and I doubt he was able to reload while handling a team of horses. Maybe possibly they al stopped for a couple of minutes, while they all reloaded their weapons, then once all were reloaded, continued the chase again from where it let off during the reloading. Makes you think doesn't it. I doubt very much that most stage robberies in the old days, were ever conducted by a long horse chase, with lots of gun-fire for miles and miles. Doesn't make sense, now does it?
True in all these old Westerns. Once in a while they will show someone reloading. It’s even more egregious when someone is shooting a revolver and they don’t have a gun belt with spare cartridges.

The bad guys are so polite in this movie. They always come riding in with guns blasting, to give their victims plenty of time to get ready.
And once again, guns that never run our of bullets.
Only the Good Guy ran out of bullets, then he climbs on the stage & takes 2 of them out with a rifle

Why is it in these B Westerns or most other Westerns they use only four horses for Stagecoaches instead of Six or Eight horses to a Stagecoach
