Can you do an updated tutorial with the latest AIO VM image? i am losing it.
Can we update and upgrade the Ubuntu Packages?
Worked great Thanks
Glad to hear it. Thanks for the comment
Hi! Great tutorial. What is the simplest (secure) method to be able to access this from anywhere on earth now? Like next steps after doing this? Thank you
The most secure way would be to host a VPN server so you can connect back to your home network

where do you obtain the ip address?
hi thanks for the video, I followed the instructions and it's been deployed successfully, but I'm experiencing a problem where my upload/download speed is limited to around 2megabits per second. i'm just wondering how I could increase my speeds? thank you :)
doesnt work for me... has something changed with nextcloud27?
there is no setupscript that auto starts
It's likely quite a bit has changed
is there away to get the vm more than 40G disk size ?
Thanks for making this tutorial video. I've imported the NextCloud ova file, launched the virtual machine, and entered the default NextCloud credentials. However, I don't receive a second prompt to initiate the 'NextCloud Startup Script'. Is there a way I could manually start this script? Thank you for your help.
Try sudo bash /var/scripts/nextcloud-startup-script.sh

did you install an apache server? because i followed the video from A to Z but when i launch with the ip address i can't access the login interface.
It's already installed and configured in the VM. Make sure the network settings are set to bridged
I got blue screen when open my ip how to fix it
Try the previous version of VirtualBox if you installed 7.0.16. There's a bug with that version that causes bsod
@@i12bretro thanks bro but i have another problem when my pc try use another wifi or internet i got "Access through untrusted domain" then "Please contact your administrator. If you are an administrator, edit the "trusted_domains" setting in config/config.php like the example in config.sample.php."

@@i12bretro yeah i read this link but i don't know how to go find the file manager for location the installation
How do I find the IP address of the VM?
It shows in the terminal above the login prompt
@@i12bretro No it doesnt now. What is alternative way to find it?
Login at the terminal and run 'ip a' to output the network info
@@i12bretro thank you! it worked like a charm!
However i still cant access the machine from a web browser on win 10. May i ask for any further suggestions? Pinging works
Maybe you have a firewall on the host blocking on that port? Also make sure the network adapter is set to bridged in the VM settings
Who is Hansonit? Why do we need to connect to them? Sounds very fishy
Can always install NextCloud yourself or run it containerized. Here's more info on Hansson IT

Freakin annoying background music. WHy do you think you need it
A) it masks background noise in the voiceover
B) it's better than long silences while things happen on screen
C) to annoy you
at least, it should have less volume. All it does is make me go somewhere else. I personally find it irritating when trying to listen to what you are saying. But it's your post.
You did accomplish C:
I don't personally think the music is too loud. It's easy to hear what I'm saying. If it's not for you, that's fine. Leaving rude comments won't change anything. There's always a method to my madness
@@i12bretro The music IS loud when your voice-over is soft...
The levels have been adjusted in newer videos. YT doesn't allow me to alter existing uploads
