I love that thing about nutritions, but I did that for years now and the data is often not on the Internet, at least not in the country I live in. The idea is great and I'd love that because it would help me so much but I just guess that it won't work that well at the moment as it doesn't work that accurate manually. But if that would work... but the weight changes so much in different products as well as who made the food. But that is just me, someone who wants just the average datas, that might be enough, but I learned that they might differ extremely... so... well... I have to say, I like what they show, I wouldn't buy it, but use it if someone would gift it to me. I wouldn't buy any of those agents because I simply don't need something like that right now. But those people just wanting to say something bad about something or someone... it is just so annoying, it always feels as if they just want to be mean. Just my opinion, feels to me like that. It is like the "non artists" complaining about artists losing their jobs ... "THEY STEAL MY JOB"... first they should get a job 🤣 Sorry, just a stupid joke. Just be kind to each other, honestly. What is the point in making more fuss? If you don't like a product, don't buy it. I despise apple and I don't buy anything of them, simple as that. Please, don't misunderstand, if you criticize then please "constructive criticism" because with that you might be able to change something.
Man, I can't ask my phone to do any of that. How will I live without a dam pin on my lapel that keeps falling off onto the concrete and tile floor? I really need at least 10 more electronic devices embedded in my clothing before I am a complete and whole person, you know what I mean? Maybe I should start an AI pin collection like I used to do with ski resort pins back in the day. I could have like 30 AI pins littered throughout my body and an Apple watch on my wrist and a fitness monitor attached to my forehead, then carry my phone in one pocket and a Garmin in the other, ohhh, and a tablet in my car and a weather monitoring station on my head, as well, so I am prepared for anything! And let's be honest, being able to find out how much sugar is contained in a "glazed" effing doughnut is super helpful! Based! Bitchessssssss!
I’m not sure about the design, but I think the future is this, the gadgets like this and rabbit, we’re gonna be more prompting and talking to computers instead of typing, or pinching them, still instead of a website there must be an app to see the nutrition, health and other data. Probably a bigger company eventually buy them.
18:52 CEO is cold😂, notice how she told her put up, or shut up, in the most savage, but kind way. This is nothing like the crypto bro's, this is literally the first iterations, of our A.I future.
I just thought they had gotten Darius Rucker and Sarah Michelle Gellar to advertise this at first. Other than that, I didn't see much that smart devices can't already do, aside from setting up a TH-cam stalking list.
why dont we/they talk more of this little detail: “While you will still have access to the data within your account, the device will be inoperable. If you do not reactivate your Humane Subscription within 60 days, your phone number will be rescinded.” ?
I'm not sure if talking while waiting for the response and then getting interrupted was a good thing for showing that the responses come faster than expected, or bad because it broke the flow of the presentation and made things less clear.....
Questions that I never needed to know the answers to. Those who make themselves dependent on something like AI Pin to live their life will probably spend 30 minutes a day freezing like a robot while waiting for it to respond! That would be ironic.
The problem is that, humans are visual creatures. AI pin recognises this too and that’s why there is a hub on the laptop. But that defeats the purpose, everything this pin can do, can’t an advanced Siri or Google assistant just do and better? I rather take a picture of my meal and have it map it to other apps and keep a profile. I rather show and use my phone to record things, where control is in my hands to zoom, change focus etc.. I just feel like they simply created a hardware for making money whereas it can easily be replaced by an advanced ai on one’s phone.
Me starting in ASDA; “Catch me up” PIN; “savings on erectile dysfunction medicine, your bank closed your accounts, and your mum says dinner is ready, love you”. It’s a no from me. 😂😂😂😂
Reminds me of that Asian Andy TTS prank. "Text from mom: Andy, please stay out of my underwear drawer. You have a problem and it's starting to get out of control."
Literally everything done here can be achieved through an app on the phone and earbuds (and that way you dont need everybody else to hear what you do). And what do u do in a sunny day? I dont think you would be able to see what it says on your hand..
i know, the only good thing is it may be a bit quicker/easier. It would be good if you could connect earbuds to it, but this is just the first version so can't wait what similar stuff will come out in 5 years.
Are they planning to make a smaller one bc it looks fine on a casual jacket & can’t see wearing it on a dress or at the gym. Also, I assume supports bluetooth? How is data protected? How much does it cost per month?
I’m still not sold on this… The vision stuff is pretty cool but I still think our phones are going to do all of this VERY soon 🤷♂️ I don’t want another device
Its cringe at the moment but give it a year and im sure everyone will have something similar to this. Right now it has too many limitations, but with the speed the industry is moving at future versions (or maybe updates) will bring this up to speed. These guys will no doubt have a large first mover advantage.
I was impressed by the original TED talk but their media tour interviews have been a disaster. I don’t think they have a viable product. The Rabbit R1 device seems more practical and better and it’s only 200 bucks. Also, Apple’s mobile devices are going to have a huge AI update this year. Best of luck to them tho!
The gadget seems totally useless to me. Btw just imagine how in the already noisy crowd several people activate this thing, it would be a sound mess. Also, why not to do this with smart glasses which would answer right to you ear and take photos/videos from the eye-level perspective?
I don't see any advantages over siri or Google assistant (especially Gemini) you already have in your phone. Everyone carries their phones with themselves anyways. This AI is incredibly slow if it's letting her speak so much before answering her questions
The tech is really fun and interesting and cool and it is useful in many ways as she demonstrated. But ... Give it 1 year, and all the problems with this will rise to the top. and that will be that for the humane ai pin.
It might be using the new Qualcomm Snapdragon 8s which has a NPU for AI speed boosting. Lots of tech in a tiny package. $24/mth subscription, sorry, I will wait for a cheaper open source solution that will use my local LLMs. But for me the shocking and stunning feature is the Cyan laser projector. I did not know those were available.
It doesn't replace a phone because I still need a screen for things. It's not smaller than a phone because you've got to carry the charging case. so now I've got to carry the phone and this? no.
You got me until the Portuguese translation, the neutral accent or absence of “?” Make it translate to “It’s not cool” or “it’s not legal” instead of “isn’t that cool?”
Sure, everyone will just pony out $10K for a surgical implant procedure and spend months learning it, instead of a $200 device. Not sure where you live, but where I do, no one has any hesitation to talk on their phone in public, or earbuds.
I like that they are trying something different but just like the R1 they are an app awau from this going goodbye. The montly fee is also probably a deabreaker imo
I am wondering if we really need another device to carry around. So why buy this instead of a phone. As I am already carrying a phone and that maybe even with a watch interface, it seems that this nice may not live long, brilliant as it is. Phones will have more power and apps and app development will definitely take over. A more intelligent Siri/Google would do all this? Or am I confused.
No. It’s painfully slow And it cannot talk out loud reading my messages and so on. It would have to be talking in headphones. The voice is very robotic. The entire solution is a lot like Siri 👎 including it’s reasoning - at least that’s what it looks like
Man i don't think this is the future. The is no real advantage you will have the same ai in your phone and I don't see people carrying around a pin and a phone.

Is the person in the background on Discord? 🤣
I've asked myself the same question. AND is he reading the whole time the same stuff? XD
I would lose my mind over that beeping sound
Maybe you could adjust the volume and/or change to a different sound.
Omg why is she talking over the ai!! This just makes the ai look super slow if she had all that time to talk
Me starting in ASDA; “Catch me up”
PIN; “savings on erectile dysfunction medicine, your bank closed your accounts, and your mum says dinner is ready, love you”.
@@OMGLittleB in 5 years we may have consumer ready non invasive BCI's.. Soo..
great topic, thanks
Are they planning to make a smaller one bc it looks fine on a casual jacket & can’t see wearing it on a dress or at the gym. Also, I assume supports bluetooth?
How is data protected? How much does it cost per month?
I guess the gestures should fit the "screen". If it was smaller they would have to rethink the whole design.
@@gweneth5958 great point! Thank you.
I’m still not sold on this… The vision stuff is pretty cool but I still think our phones are going to do all of this VERY soon 🤷♂️ I don’t want another device
Do you not think that it might make a good supplement to a phone's functionality?
So it's a pocket brain that remembers and assists you in everything online
Its cringe at the moment but give it a year and im sure everyone will have something similar to this. Right now it has too many limitations, but with the speed the industry is moving at future versions (or maybe updates) will bring this up to speed. These guys will no doubt have a large first mover advantage.
Doesn't Metas glasses do pretty much the same thing? For half the price. More excited for the R1
I am not a gadget guy but when this got stable I want to have one.
Why would anyone want this as a separate device rather than integrating it into smartphones?
Hope its gonna replace smartphones completely one day..for the better 🎉
Now just wait for winter time.. !
Another startup that will go done in flame in less then 2 years !
Yes, but the CEO will pay himself a 85 million dollar bonus right before they file for chapter 11 ..... so there's that.
I saw nothing that Siri or Google assistant couldn't do.
I don't see any advantages over siri or Google assistant (especially Gemini) you already have in your phone. Everyone carries their phones with themselves anyways. This AI is incredibly slow if it's letting her speak so much before answering her questions
This device is Less than optimal. Bring on the robots already.
Probably a good phone companion
No, no, no and no.
And yes
Jotarooo!!!
It doesn't replace a phone because I still need a screen for things. It's not smaller than a phone because you've got to carry the charging case. so now I've got to carry the phone and this? no.
I don't feel like the people in the background are actually working.
You got me until the Portuguese translation, the neutral accent or absence of “?” Make it translate to “It’s not cool” or “it’s not legal” instead of “isn’t that cool?”
Looked cool and then I saw the price.
… and here I am, “I’ll use 9899 like always”….
dont get it why would anyone use that
you basically cant use it in public?
just get a neuralink way more private;)
Sure, everyone will just pony out $10K for a surgical implant procedure and spend months learning it, instead of a $200 device.
Not sure where you live, but where I do, no one has any hesitation to talk on their phone in public, or earbuds.
hmmm gues ur right with the public thing, the neuralink was sarcasm bc of potetial big brother is watching u
I like that they are trying something different but just like the R1 they are an app awau from this going goodbye. The montly fee is also probably a deabreaker imo
Not that different from O1 except it’s easier to use for now?
16:05 play a movie on my hand 😂
Fascinating reading the nei-sayers say its slow... lol, ofc its slow xD
I will ride this AI wave to the end.
Wont let it pass me by like crypto...
So, A) it uses NO hands. B) can full time SEE for the AI to do things for you (like warn you about a bicyclist coming at you)
Its a start but not for me. I would consider myself a earlier adopter. Its cost is too much. I went for the rabbit R1 instead.
can someone point out benefits instead of just pulling out my phone and ask an assistance there? For now it seems pretty much pointless to me
Wow!
If it will be talking to the airpods as well I think I buy one
I foresee 1 month after it’s available people will think it’s too much work to reach their shirt pocket protectors to push a button
Tell me a bunch of nerds designed these without telling me
I want an assistant in my phone that does all of that. ¿Why doesn't it exist already?
Can’t Apple or Samsung already do something like this with the hardware they already have in the market? Ie: Apple Watch
So are you going to buy one? Or did you? I don't think so.
Interesting
No.
It’s painfully slow
And it cannot talk out loud reading my messages and so on.
Yeah, everybody had a phone on them in Star Trek.
Ya I can’t see getting this as I already have a phone and smartwatch
Samrtwatch is something doffrent by the way. It replaced something that you already wear. And it has actually useful healthy festures. And people thing it looks better
Revelation 13: 14 And deceiveth them that dwell on the earth by the means of those miracles which he had power to do in the sight of the beast; saying to them that dwell on the earth, that they should make an image to the beast, which had the wound by a sword, and did live.
[15] And he had power to give life unto the image of the beast, that the image of the beast should both speak, and cause that as many as would not worship the image of the beast should be killed.
[16] And he causeth all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads:
[17] And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name.
[18] Here is wisdom. Let him that hath understanding count the number of the beast: for it is the number of a man; and his number is Six hundred threescore and six.
The form factor is clunky. Glasses or a watch that you would already be wearing, sure. But a broche? 😂
This thing will be a flash in the pan and forgotten about within a year.
I don't know what everyone was talking about. She doesn't look like a dude.
I will not waste my money on this pin.
Nope. Its an added device with less function than my phone. Since you are not viewing any photo before taking it, obviously you're going to get objectively awful photos🤣. Not wasting my money on more junk for the drawer.
This is a DOA kind of a gadget
cool
The minute Apple releases a new version of Siri with multi modal capabilities, this company is going bankrupt
700$ dollars? Im good😂
im very shocked
I honestly think that what OAI is working on is going to blow all this company out the water! It’s pointless to compete against OAI 😅
