to be honest Analog Horror does not scare me or interst me all that much. I do not really have a fear of the unknown, I accept the brutality and often harsh reality of life. For it to be Horror for me, it would need to go further than it goes, far far further. Invasions for example, often they are done in such a boring way. Your point about technology is valid, but again I don't have nostalgia of old technology because I never brought into the fanatical drive for always new technology. There is some analog Horror which i think is done ok, but stuff surrounding liminal spaces and aliens often do not vibe with me. The only one which even vaguely interested me was the Tangi Virus due to teh social implications that would have on communities, using communities as a weapon then destroying it by the same thing that bonds it.
