Huzzah, it's finally out! I took part in the Super Famio Trackers album released a few weeks ago, and here was my contribution for it. I don't think I really had a reason for choosing this song, it just sort of popped into my head at the time. Nothing too fancy chipwise either, just added VRC6 for some extra channels. Threw in a little solo section of my own and a key change, and that was about it. As for the game, I remember playing it over my cousin's house on SNES, but I never really sank my teeth into it until it came out for the Wii Virtual Console. Definitely an engaging little game with a lot of charm. There were a few moments where I laughed out loud at the writing! Yoko Shimomura definitely worked her magic with the score, delivering the fun, chippy tunes alongside some darker, more sinister songs.
Ahhh that's a tricky question. I don't mind, but I don't have the authority to say you can or can't. Nintendo and/or Square own the rights to the composition, so they are the people you would have to ask about licensing the track for use in your game.
This is pretty good! I like the improv bits near the middle.
Thanks! Glad to hear you like my little added bits. :)
This needs more views.
Thanks for listening! Sharing it around with your friends should boost that view count up. 😉

More Newt!
Hey, is it okay if I can use this in a game I'm working on? Credit will be given!
