Good to see 5541 in steam again. Back in the 1970s I once collected a couple of top feed clack boxes for this loco from Swindon - massive lumps of brass, I was afraid they'd go through the floor of the car! I got given a share in 5541 for my efforts though which was nice. I've got some photos of the first steaming after restoration which I think was in January 1978.
The saddle tank is perfectly capable of pulling that train but the boys on the prairie wanted to do all the work. With double heading I prefer to see and hear both locos sharing the load.

Yeah, i prefer it when both engines on a doubleheader share the work and put on a good show
