The anniversary is about right for your first one. Mine costs 30 for a takeaway, but I'm 9 years into my relationship, and my next one may be a bigger x
I think it sounds about right. Cocktails are so expensive, and so is a decent meal if you're going out x

I think that is a good amount for your first wedding anniversary with hotel food and drinks and if you have any left put in date night. I have already put my first £40 into savings for Xmas next year. It all adds up and having my Xmas money for the Black Friday deals is so helpful. I haves saved so much on Black Friday deals one items I was already planning on buying. Money is going further.

I think you should spoil yourselves for your first anniversary as it wont happen again,well done on starting for Christmas 24,I am going to do that at beginning of January (hopefully)looking forward to the kitchen binder x

Gifting is my express of love but my budget doesn’t allow it always 😂 I treated myself to the Christmas box from studio budgets and the ho flip so the ho flip is going to be in my weekly budget to go towards that Christmas box on a more regular basis 😁😁 in my head it works and hoping I can pull it off! great video, when we go and see Michael Bolton next year I'm planning on trying to save between £200-£250 for a meal and drinks, plus train fares. I think you never going to get a first anniversary again and would be rubbish to say no to something because you haven't got enough money.

it is the same for my daughter and when you have more than one child it,s a never ending spend but I alway say they are only
young for a short time and if you can do they will have lovely memories when they are older.
Save the full anniversary amount.
If you don't spend it then put it towards something else.

I think for date night it’s nice to have a budgeted amount and if there is some left over for a night in say it’s a bonus. Love the bulk amount saved from the challenges to re stuff. Never to early to save for Christmas 🎄

How old is Grace? Just wondered with there being so much money for her birthday.
Hi Pauline. Grace will be 5 in March. The £300 saved includes presents, party, balloons & food for the party as well as ingredients to make a cake. her party is costing 200 for softplay and bouncy castle for 2 hours. That leaves 100 for the rest. Xx

Why are you reallocating it? Isn’t that counterproductive? I would think it a good idea to save? You are just playing with the same cash! I thought the challenge was to complete it as a game, and move in, not keep playing with the same money. I’m confused! Lol! It’s a game to save and get ahead.
Hi Victoria. I'm struggling to understand what you mean. I've saved this money through challenges, which I stuff using leftover money from the week and any side hustle money I receive. Some of these challenges are ones I consider as large challenges, and I wouldn't ever be able to stuff £40/£50 into as many sinking funds as I have in one sitting.
This isn't playing with the same money as I've saved it as a challenge, and I've reallocated to the sinking funds and savings envelopes that need it.
