My mom is a retired nurse and she would always bring home the single-blade razors for the household--all guys--to use. They were sharp, durable, and saved us all time.
Adding to this, thats not how you unclog the hair in the razor. Just take some water in a container (around 400 ml) and shake the razor in the container filled with water. You can use the same water for unclogging multiple strokes. That way, you also save water. Try it!
Because of your video’s I used a razor with less blades. A 2 blade vs 5 blade. While it was a closer shave and clogged less I ran into a few problems. 1) the head doesnt bend, which made it harder to shave certain spots 2) less protection, I knicked my skin a few times. Not painful, but still present. 3) because of the lack of rotation, and the lack of protection, I had to shave much slower and more carefully. Which took quite a while for a shave that didnt feel much better by the end. I had to be so slow and be so gentle with the blade on my skin I dont know if there was much benefit.

@@carolgiselle1740 so? You can literally get single razors at a small store and get them for like 5 dollars. I’m not paying like 30 for a razor like that.
Safety razors have been around for ages and yes they do give you a cleaner shave but it's also easy to get a cut if you're not careful. Once you get a hang of it it'll be no issue at all.
Plus no its not gonna shave well when your long ass leg hair is clogging the blades. That has nothing to do with performance or quality. If youre shaving long leg hair you have to unclog regularly period.
For ppl who use multiblade razor. After you gluide once, instead of starting new, gluide backwards to the next stop.. that just takes off the hair from the blades and makes it much more effective.
Idk about what kind of multi blade you’re using, but I’ve always been taught to go DOWN with the hair, not up. Its easier to get the hair shaved if you go with the grain instead of going up and fighting it
Yeah cause shaving the opposite direction causes irritation, razor burns and ingrown hairs. Not to mention it makes it even more uncomfortable after shaving. As well as leaving bumps
I used to use a 5 blade razor thinking it was better but when I used a a bic 3 blade razor. I saw a hug difference. It just so much better and it's actually smooth
Tip for the multi blade: when you go up on your leg, keep the razor on your skin and slide down. This will remove the hairs that are in between the blades. Never had clogged razors since then!
Actually she's right, I have used the same multiple razor she has but in green color and it takes multiple of times to shave and it doesn't shave good as the other one.
I used to shave with one blade and it was terrible! I always had to cut myself. I had also many redness, burns and bumps. Even if i exfoliated my skin and used shaving butter. So started use 2 or 3 blade razors and magically I finally had perfect shaving without any side effects. After 2 years i wanted to try again with one blade razor, again blood, burns and bumps. Never more! 😣
Ppl getting so mad but even outside of ur brand, if anyone has ever used an actual one blade razor, they would realize it’s so much close and such a smaller hassle to clean and use and lasts so much longer. Thats why I use the “disposable” 2 blades usually. It can cut pretty easy but worth it imo. My hair is so thick i will use an entire 4 blade in one session and those r expensive as hell
Jesus, youre not supposed to use a rusted razor... 🤦🏽♀️ and you can use a little more force than barely holding it with 2 fingers. Try to make unbiased comparisons. Your company will actually get far with decent advertisement.
applying pressure while shaving will irritate your skin! the multiblade razor definitely shaves, you can see all the hair between the blades. the point is that it takes more passes for a smooth shave and going over the same area can irritate your skin!
@@dewyhoursIf you put the same amount of pressure as you did the single blade razor and had it flat against the skin, it would've shown the same effect. It's just very obvious you didn't put in the same effort, which is unfortunately misleading advertisement. It doesn't take more passes for one area, it just takes more rinsing, as the single blade is double sided so it has 2 passes as opposed to the 1 for the other. The smoother shave I think has already been statistically proven, I personally didnt notice much of a difference with a different brand, but that might just be my hair type. I just don't get why companies can't focus on the actual plus sides instead of making up other stuff to pile on.
@@MonsterrBunnehit would not be the same result, I tried it myself and I saw the multi bladder razor do a SLIGHTLY worse job. Overall just buy a single blade razor IF you buy a lot of razors throughout the year. If you barely shave you can get away with cheap multi bladder razors.
I actually have this razor and its actually one I've gotten the best results from, I've gotten no nicks or bumps from it, even if it's dry shaving! And it really is a lot easier to clean since it's metal and there are little inserts on the backside of them where if you can't clean it, all you need is to blow on them or use a towel (it doesn't get damaged!) and also its reusable while the multi razors arent usually

@@thefruityloops2958safety compared to straight razors and plain blades, it is in no way safer than a multi blade razor. I have a disposable razor for my hard to reach areas and a safety razor for everywhere else because it is very easy to cut yourself with a safety razor.
@@Elle... yeah if you don’t know what ur doing. I use my safety razor for everything and have 1 maybe 2 nicks max. Obviously you will cut yourself more if you just go Willy nilly on everything
@@thefruityloops2958 thank god there’s a safety razor master here to make sure no one expresses any problems they face with them. Not everyone has perfectly steady hands, I personally have nerve damage in my lower legs and can’t feel if I nick my ankles or knees, so I’m going to continue to “not know what I’m doing” and use both types of razors.
Right I cannot imagine the horror of using a double sided razor on my 🐱.
My mom taught me to clean multi blade razors by putting it against my palm and going up, the blades don't cut in that direction and your palm gets the hairs pretty well
My mom is a retired nurse and she would always bring home the single-blade razors for the household--all guys--to use. They were sharp, durable, and saved us all time.
My multiblade razor never gets caught on hair and cleans so easily, yall gotta get better razors😅
Adding to this, thats not how you unclog the hair in the razor. Just take some water in a container (around 400 ml) and shake the razor in the container filled with water. You can use the same water for unclogging multiple strokes. That way, you also save water. Try it!
This is just not true lmao.
@@lillymurray8408how should you know. Are you them?
@@lillymurray8408mmmm... sure
Also the fact that the multi blade razor in this vid has literal rust on it- so, like, of course it's not gonna work as well, it's old and rusty 😭
be careful not to drop the single blade one. the handle is slippery and I almost cut my toe off
Pls i think you guys and august pads should collab *perfect combo ❤
Yeah the difference in price is also really noticable
Because of your video’s I used a razor with less blades. A 2 blade vs 5 blade. While it was a closer shave and clogged less I ran into a few problems. 1) the head doesnt bend, which made it harder to shave certain spots 2) less protection, I knicked my skin a few times. Not painful, but still present. 3) because of the lack of rotation, and the lack of protection, I had to shave much slower and more carefully. Which took quite a while for a shave that didnt feel much better by the end. I had to be so slow and be so gentle with the blade on my skin I dont know if there was much benefit.
£29.95 + additional fees… FOR A RAZOR 😭 imma stick with my multiblade razor thankyou
check pinned comment😊
@@dewyhoursit’s still no reason to be so expensive? You can get the same ones for a literal cheaper price.
@@WinkyPooks This does the same work as the Wilkinson Sword's double edge razor which is also a metal razor, it costs less than 20 dollars and includes 5 refills. You can use Personna's blade refills and they fit perfectly, you get 100 blades for 20usd. 👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻 do your math 😊
@@carolgiselle1740 so? You can literally get single razors at a small store and get them for like 5 dollars. I’m not paying like 30 for a razor like that.
@@carolgiselle1740 go ahead and cry to your useless 30 dollar razor! 😊👌👌👌
Thats actually pretty good!
WTF I just watched but your just showing the product it’s nice 👌🏻
Safety razors have been around for ages and yes they do give you a cleaner shave but it's also easy to get a cut if you're not careful. Once you get a hang of it it'll be no issue at all.
Your razer vs turboflex razor
Me trying to NOT make a self harm joke:
I never thought that watching someone find a door knob would be so painful and rewarding
unclogging is fairly easy, just glide it the opposite direction and do a light hit on the counter THEN rinse every other swipe
The way it is held while shaving also makes a difference
As much as this razor is "more expensive" it's cheaper in the long round, absolutely love mine!
Idk about what kind of multi blade you’re using, but I’ve always been taught to go DOWN with the hair, not up. Its easier to get the hair shaved if you go with the grain instead of going up and fighting it
Right why is she cap
Everyone is different
Its because going up its the only way to get a closer shave if u have thick hair. You also wax the opposite direction that the hair grows
Yeah cause shaving the opposite direction causes irritation, razor burns and ingrown hairs. Not to mention it makes it even more uncomfortable after shaving. As well as leaving bumps
THIS!!! omg thank you for saying smt i was waiting for a comment like this 😭😭
I used to use a 5 blade razor thinking it was better but when I used a a bic 3 blade razor.
I agree!! I hate shaving with multi blade disposable razors. Clog up so easy. I’ve just purchased a single blade razor and can’t wait to try it!
She MIGHT be the most humble AND heartwarming person To ever EXIST !❤😘
Been using a single blade razor for years and it changed my life
Id probably cut myself so bad with the single blade razor
I used to shave with one blade and it was terrible! I always had to cut myself. I had also many redness, burns and bumps. Even if i exfoliated my skin and used shaving butter. So started use 2 or 3 blade razors and magically I finally had perfect shaving without any side effects. After 2 years i wanted to try again with one blade razor, again blood, burns and bumps. Never more! 😣
I totally bet the one razor side is exfoliated and the other isnt, it makes a BIG difference
Multi blade razors are much safer and you can see her net putting as much pressure as you should
When you are gliding the multi blade shaver to shave, glide it in the opposite direction so you can get all the hair out.
Multi has always worked better for me. 5 blade to be exact.
One of the razors were rusty and obviously used while the other was new
Get a cup. Fill it with water, and rinse your razor that way. You won’t waste as much water.
I have a single blade razor and I love it!
I got hurt by both of these. Be careful guys
the perfect way to remove the hair from the razor is tap it in the washbasin. all the hair is removed at once.
Your razor is like $40 no ones stupid enough to buy that lol. Id definitely purchase tho if it was $5-$10
Assuming its a quality handle, safety razors last decades and replacement blades cost a few cents, so it pays for itself within a few months of use
@@cyberneticfish8086yes but I'm not spending $40 on a razor in the first place lol 🤣
also on the normal shaver if you put it under water and shake it a little bit the hair will fly right off
am I the only one without any problems with a multi blade orr like it gives me the smoothest shave ever
You can use old tooth brush to clean out the hairs.
Why did u cut the video while washing the razor
Agreed
This is the most two faced advertisement I've ever seen. She literally pet her leg with the first razor and actually shaved with the second one.
Dude you knoooooow they’re gonna upcharge you on the handle but the refills are literally just razor blades. You can get them for dirt cheap, so this is more cost effective. However, inside I am dying because I went to target today and those old cardboard flash Fujifilm disposable cameras are $18!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I screamed
Multi blade razors also sell the blades to recharge just the "head" of the razor
Single blade razor gang
👇🏼
Razor blades give me flashbacks... 💀
I have a silver single blade razor from 1980s and it's very easy to clean ,it has bolt like mechanism that opens it without letting the blade to fall
Can u make a beginner friendly one pls
Question, I heard you have a higher chance of cutting yourself with a single blade razor is that true? I have shaky hands so Im scared to try.😅
Yep, that's why I switched to multi :/
I don't think it's true. In my experience I've actually cut myself more easily with multiblade razors
Thank you! I feel like I’m the only one who likes single / double blades better than multiple blades. Maybe having course hair makes a difference 😊
i love love love my one blade razor. i bought one a while ago for 15€ from man’s section and for me, it’s so worth it. it took a little practice but i quickly learned how to use it without accidentally cutting myself.
I definitely need that in my country, I'm a person who grows my body hair very fast. 😭
same 😭
Have u waxed?
I started using single blade razor bc I was trying to save up (them multi blades dont last long 💀) i was super reluctant at first bc I thought the design looked... not for women(twas gillette) I thought it might slice my armpits or something lol but I accidentally found a treasure. Damn things shave so smoothly I cant see a hint of hair
where did u get it?
For a beginner, would you recommend a single or a multi blade?
The trick is to do a long pass then go all the way backwards without lifting the blade, it "cleans" itself and you don't have to rinse a lot. Plus, doing ot twice leaves your skin flawless.
بس ضربي الشفرة كذا مع الأرض وخلص هي صارت نظيفة 😂😂😂😂
I really want one, how could I convince my mom go be buy me rasor so expensive when she don't even let me shave ? 😭😭
