went hiking at 1900 one evening listening to this on my headphones... suddenly realized i wouldn't hear the difference between a hog IRL and one on the track - so i stopped the track. the atmosphere was great though.
Once a stalker, always a stalker.
Some vodka, bread, cured meat and pickles is the perfect accompaniment to this.
In light of recent events, this may soon be the IRL soundtrack of Eastern Europe.
I can imagine sitting at the military outpost in a watchtower, holding a poorly conditioned AK and looking out into this alien, twisted landscape, it looking so normal, yet so different, wrong.
BROTHERS! please look into the Stalker books, there is a lot of books set in this realm and from many different authors (Polish and Russian from my experience) well worth the effort even if you don't normally read books by the campfire... it keeps the janre and realm alive!

When I play SHOC there isn't such harmony in cordon. Every playtrough the southern air is filled with
God I miss this game. I’ll have to play through it again once school eases up and I get through my back log of games
