The video quality isn’t as great as I would’ve liked it to be but I was able to follow the aircraft pretty well. And I agree I like the livery as well!
Wow! That Delta MD-88 is so powerful when it starts the takeoff roll at 6:40. I miss seeing the AA MD-80’s there... Anyways, I am really loving that new United Livery!
These delta MD-80s are on their way out too. I caught a delta 737 for the first time this video, which is what delta is going to use on its Atlanta route. They’re still flying the MDs the majority of the time, but they’re phasing them out. I’m gonna miss them, they’re a fun plane to watch, especially on takeoffs!
Have you thought about maybe trying to capture the UPS MD-11 (N290UP) ? I've been wanting to see it depart so bad but she usually doesn't have too much activity in the daylight hours most departures are around 10-Midnight
I’ve been keeping tabs on it, and it usually doesn’t depart till about 10 pm. Unfortunately, it’s hard for me to film in the dark as all you’d see would be some blinking lights

CLE Aviation 440 Yeah, I’m going to Atlanta next year, so hopefully they have them around still.
They might be. As of right now I don’t think they have anything finalized regarding their retirements. At least not like American has.

I agree! It differentiates United from Continental a little more than just the Continental livery with United’s name on it
