But essentially the idea is that if you have planets in each other's Antiscia you can treat them as if they were conjunct. I've noticed it in horaries that it really works. Contra-antiscia, on the other hand, works like an opposition does :) I hope this is helpful
Hi, Sweet-Aloha! There are a lot of different ideas on how to interpret them. Like Joe G said, some have likened the Antiscia to a conjunction and the contra-Antiscia to an opposition. Planets are also said to see/be seen at the points they cast their antiscia on, and the contra-Antiscia has been associated with hearing. These ways of interpretating them are all useful and give interesting results. Personally, I put them on equal footing with any other major aspect.
