This video feels like it fell out of an alternate universe. One where time has stopped 40 years ago. Where Tiffany and Debbie Gibson still play concerts in the mall, and MTV still keeps you watching for the next amazing video and new sound that you have not heard before. And this video would be in heavy rotation, and teenage girls would be trying to find where to buy what Jessie is wearing.......
She brings back the true voice of 80s with music. Voices like her will surely get attention some day.

I used to have that exact car in that same color in a 1:18 scale cast model my grandpa gave me as a kid. I kept that and two others he gave me in the original box. I only just got rid of it a few years cleaning out the garage. I had it for 27 years. When this video gets 8 billion views it's going to be worth a lot more.

Maybe this is too much thinking for a TH-cam comment but I can't help but notice that Jessie is again telling a lot of story without calling attention to it. At first glance the song appears to be a sort of triumphant "I know that you are the one" kind of thing, almost as if you'd sing it at a wedding. You have the option to take it that way, love is great, there's a bit about how "maybe heartache came into our lives before we met so the timing could be right", surely these two are destined to live happily ever after.
But you might notice in the video that this guy does not show up! (He must have managed to get VERY lost.) She waits and drives away alone! The lyrics reinforce that with important unanswered questions like "when will you be the one? when will you be the light?" A question like "how can I be sad with you in my life?" could make us wonder: wait, why are you sad?
Combine this with little details like the note (in the video) or the walls coming down at half-past midnight (in the lyrics) that give us room to imagine a story even if we aren't quite told what it is. A+
Good take, made me look closer at the video, you can read most of the letter and it's a response from a guy where it's implied he moved away before she could tell him her feelings. So very much a story of lost love I suppose.

Hey Jessie, haven't commented before, but long time fan. Not much of a 'commenter' but this song is our song, my bf and I, it fits us prefectly. We both had rocky relationships in the beginning of our story, and now we've been best friends for 7+ years and every chapter has been bumpy but so happy that at the very least we have each other.
