Really enjoyed your video, thank you for sharing in my page. It’s nice to have a different topic to Mudlarking and bottle digging. I think I’m going to have to get out beach combing now. I found a tall thin bottle today and I want to fill it with sea glass 😁
I'm obsessed with seaglass hunting with my partner. Definitely recommend Seaham if you want to travel that far. You are such a Welsh 🌹 Rose. We are off down south near to West Wittering next weekend. Hugs to Bear 🐻. I can't wait to see your jelwery.
I kayak a few lakes here in Midwest America and find weathered limbs/sticks. I use the sea glass I buy, and use jewelry wire and make suncatchers/mobiles to hang on my deck. There’s some hole drilling on both but they turn out lovely.
Absolutely! I get distracted by the rocks a lot haha I sometimes pick up special shells but we have lots of hermit crabs in wales who might use them so I tend to leave them when I can!
What amazing finds. I think you were just down the road from me here. I usually go to the next beach along, to the west of the one you were on, as I usually find a nice amount of pottery on that beach. I did find a glass stopper once too 🤗
A thought for you. I use an apron with a clean open drink bottle in it to put my tiny seashells in when I’m beachcombing. That way my hands are free to retrieve my little treasures. When I finish or my bottle gets too full, I put my lid on my bottle and start with a new drink bottle.(Sometimes I have to use a medicine bottle if the shell is too big for the neck of the drink bottle.) Take care and I really enjoy your videos. Thanks for sharing. Blessings
Please do seaglass windchime, and I love all the seaglass you have found. I collect it too but not as many colours as you have. I live in Tasmania Enjoy!😊
I've just started watching you. Can I asked what you do with all the glass that you find? You have inspired me to look for pirate sea glass and multi glass. Can't wait to find some very soon when I go away down Dorest way. Looking forward to watching more of your videos
This is my first time to see one of your videos but it was fun to see you and your dog on the beach. I feel sorry for you out there in the cold I could not do that. I'm from the south of the United States of America and I don't like the cold. Wish a got of luck.
It was 2 degrees but I thoroughly enjoyed! Going into spring now so it’s warming up and I can have more leisurely beachcombs. Bear and I hope to earn your subscription Linda ❤️
* What a Wonderful Tip!! You really made a Haul.. ~ I am surprised that there aren't any (or many) pieces of COBALT since it was frequently used for Poison bottles.. ~ My favorite is the Mermaid's Tears, or what you call Aqua (or soft blue/green. Sea Foam.) ~ Your Joy is infectious!! ~ There are not many pieces of pale Amber. I only saw one tiny piece you missed entirely.. ~ You can put the tiny chips into tiny bottles with stoppers & wrap wire around them to wear as Pendants.. ~ What you call Amber is Brown ~ Amber is a brownish, orangish, yellowish color.. LOL.. ~
I do not have or want to have Instagram so I hope you can show us some of your jewelry here too??I did see some wishingstonesYellow and red was`nt there to dayI love chimes so will love to see you make some. I love those tilepieces, escpecially those with two colors, those are rare.
I just saw your video for the first time, I would love to see how you make a wind chimes. With any luck, I'll be going to the beach for the first time ,in January in Florida
Beautiful seagrass finds. I'm coming over to Wales with my hubby in June (Tenby, Porthcawl, Llanelli area). We come by car . Would you please give a tip with beach to go and any other tips for sightseeing . I just came back from London (mudlarking) but there you only find pottery not much of seagrass. Greetings from Germany!
Porthcawl has a lot of sea glass so you won’t go far wrong in that area! Check the screes and make sure to dig a little to find the best bits! Best of luck 🤞 I hope you find some gems!
I don’t share locations on TH-cam because usually I’m out hunting on my own and don’t want to put myself at risk but if you’re a Welshie you’ll be able to tell from the B roll and drone footage where it is!
Hmmm….so you don’t share your location, because of ‘safety reasons’ which strikes me as just jealously guarding it for yourself, whilst happily sharing your location and date for the next haul, possibly because it’s well known and in England…yeah…I don’t think I’ll be subscribing thanks.

So you only want Welsh to be able to go here? Racist much. You tell everyone where you'll be next week, but it's English so that's ok then. @@welshinwellies
No I only keep the stuff I can use anyway really! I have Jewellery making videos which show how I use some of it and a few craft tutorials coming including a sea glass windchime
I have bought a lot of different sea glass from Etsy mostly. I have made jewelry and a cross between a wind catcher/chime/wall hanging. But it a piece of stick, weather-worn, with holes drilled. Then I use jewelry wire strung through both sea glass and stick. I made one for myself with sea shells and sea glass and it is hanging on my deck overhead. I made one for me boss but here’s is only the glass. They turned out lovely. I don’t know how to post a photo here. I do macrame. I decorated the last purse with sea glass. Cheers.
Which was your favourite find?!
Very nice finds! There are some beautiful rocks and nice shells on the beach too. 😊
I loved all the blue's, turcoise blue is my favorite color😁

Another coming this Sunday!
You passed up a bunch of sea pottery sister😜
I would take a small food tub with a top & set it down to put the pieces in instead of trying to hold them & drop them.. much easier collecting..

get a UV light and check your glass some of it if old may glow yellow ( uranium glass) love sea glass
I'm sure you know that South Beach in Aberystwyth is a gold mine after storms like we're having now.
It looked like a #5 in the amber pirate glass
The pieces of pottery you have found are all willow pattern x
That’s really helpful thank you! It looks like tie dye - so beautiful and beachy.
❤😊
I'm wondering if that is UV glass?

@@welshinwellies Thank you so much.
I know Im late commenting but yes to a tutorial
You got it 😁💪🏻 it’s in the works!
What types of bags do you recommend taking on the beach? Should I get one that has a strap?
I use a bum bag/ fanny pack that goes around my waist so I have my hands free for picking!
Wow! Which beach is it? I live in South Wales and have been looking for some sea glass to top dress my plants😍

She doesn’t want to risk anyone else sharing in the joys of finding seaglass on the beach someone else kindly shared with her… wow.
Hiya I'm in mid-Wales. Care to share or do you choose to keep the location a secret? Lovely finds!

I am trying to figure out if you’re by the ocean? I don’t see any water. Is it low tide?
Yes it’s low tide - you can see on the drone shots ☺️ wales has one of the biggest tidal ranges in the world.
Which ones are common and which ones rare?
Bottle stoppers are pretty hard to come by, as is pirate glass! Cobalt blue is rare too
Its not from an insulator its from the neck of a screw top bottle!
Where is this please
If you show pics of the jewelry you will be able to sell it.❤
Around 5:17 in the background there was the brightest blue 😭😭😭
What do you do with your sea glass? Do you have a shop?
