Sorry, i didnt understand. I thought #1521 is Default dynamic port and without any listener configuration or setting a local listener, you will still make connection to DB. Why do we need static or dynamic listener entries here ? If you were to make it dynamic, we use listener.ora File? Thank you for your awesome work.
Good observation. Problem was there was a LOCAL_LISTENER parameter set (wrongly on purpose) which was preventing it from registering with default listener. It was done purposefully to create this tutorial. And in the next tutorial, I covered the points you mentioned. Thank You.
Normally if we execute lsnrctl status the status is READY. But yours was UNKNOWN.
