Yesss, this is one of my favorite tracks too! I think the visuals are amazing and don't get me started on the music, it's even in an odd time signature! The track layout itself feels so smooth as well

Me and my friend have been battling each other for PBs on this map for a year by now. We would always grind the map again when the other beat our PB. A while ago I got a 1:19.017, but there is one Problem: We were never aware of the Ramp Jump Setup in Laps 2 and 3. So technically, according to Bayesic's calculations, that run for me could have been a 1:18.417 and i am crying right now. Gonna practice the jump and update you boys Edit: spelling
Why do we not maintain the drift till the glider section then glide to the right and use glider vectoring/motion glider to get back on the track? Just something I was wondering and not sure if it is faster but I'd like to hear an explanation:D
I’m not 100% on this but if I had to guess, it’s because to do glider vectoring you have to go off to the side, and you’re already going so fast that it’d put you in a bad spot when you land
This is a pretty good track, definitely not one of my favorites though bc I'm not a huge fan of the music (for mk8dx's soundtrack that is, this music is still rly good but it doesn't compete with the rest of the banger soundtrack in this game) and I prefer 150cc so this track is a little less interesting for that. I also would've liked if there had been one or two more shortcuts bc it feels kinda hard to come back if you mess up in online play with the only type of shortcut being the one at the end
Fun fact: This is the only mario kart theme to be in a 5/4 time signature. At least as far as I'm aware.
Not only 5/4, but 5/4 clave which is probably one of my favorite versions of 5/4 ^_^
