I love that he was talkin' trash to his all time favorite player, Kevin Durant, in round 1 and he was cracking KD up. I'm a Wolves fan (and a KD fan) and as awesome as it was to sweep the Suns after they swept the wolves in the regular season and were pretty heavy favorites going into round 1- it was tough to see Durant go out like that. He needs some more help over there.

He might be a little overpaid but Denver is a small market and has to do things like that to keep players, and they won a championship out of it so I guess it was worth it. Minnesota’s defense is as legitimate as it gets. Edwards has got the moxie, swagger and confidence right now to beat any team left in the playing field. I got the Wolves winning in 6 over the Mavs and we’ll wait to see how the East shapes out.

The narrative about KAT being soft has been the most obvious way to tell someone hasn't been watching the Wolves in 8 years. He's the 7th best defensive rating in the league, this year... ahead of Anthony Davis. That narrative of him being soft is from his rookie season 8 years ago and even then it was BS. He just had a historically bad surrounding cast, and didn't run away to team up with other stars. He stuck it out and its paying off now.

Bruce Brown was the glue around that 2nd Nuggets unit last year. I think that Denver had a real shot at the chip again this year but slightly at a disadvantage because they traded him. I’m a Nets fan and I miss his hustle and grind he gave us in Brooklyn, Denver fumbled bad by losing him

Rudy even played decent. When Rudy was making his free throws & then made a crazy midrange shot as the shot clock was expiring it became palpable that Denver was in serious trouble. Combine this with the fact Denver could NOT buy a bucket (outside of NJ) became more & more evident Denver was going down!

The nuggets lost because of a disagreement between Calvin Booth and Mm. Booth wanted to develop depth during the regular season for the playoffs while mm wanted to get the top seed. The worst part about is none of those goals were obtained and the top seed would not have mattered because Denver blew game 7 at home.

Jamal Murray can't keep missing all these regular season games. He missed 24 games. He needs to get more reps in the regular season to and find ways to stop getting injured. He's had a terrible postseason overall. His temper tantrums when things don't go his way also needs to be changed as well. The Nuggets will need a good roleplayer who can create plays and play good defense.

It really is wild how Dallas gets underestimated. Hindsight is 20/20, but the Edwards and Minnesota hype train after Denver was just unrealistic.
Very excited for the wolves, they deserve it and this will make for a great conf finals. But how are the Mavs a flawed team?? I get they have their limitations like anyone else, but they have one of the best backcourts in the league and their defense has improved tremendously. The support of lively, Washington, gafford, Jones Jr.. i don’t see how you can quickly discredit everything they’ve built there this year by calling them a flawed team. Looking forward to this series!
