I believe we should sack this guy now while we have the chance to form a style of play before the world cup swings around. As a coach, never talk about being afraid of anyone, never talk about wanting to avoid anyone. Never express doubt.
I remember when I was a small child. Graham Taylor was the England manager. Cameras filmed a show and followed the team. In the dressing room before a match, hes saying to the players, if we win, blah blah and if we lose blah blah.
Do not put negative thoughts in your players heads at any time. Never make players feel like you don't believe in them.
A coach has to be a mentor, a psychologist, a tactician, a talent identifier, a leader, a spokesman and other things too. Nothing, Nothing at all, is more important than the job as psychologist.
