    In terms of the FX market, you can scalp 20 pips a day with ease.....if u try to get greedy, the market will crush you on the pullback that you may not have anticipated

    Can anyone help me out? I took 2 trades today 1 on ANTE and another on AUTO float for both were under 15m. For ANTE I bought at 1.28 at 10:02am on flag break and over VWAP, didn't even get to 1r and stopped out at 1.19. For AUTO I bought at 1.51 at 10:52am on flag break and again over VWAP, did at least get to 1r, but could not get passed that and then stopped out at 1.40. Can someone please tell what I did wrong?

      Possibly nothing. Sometimes things don’t work. Size down and keep losing until you learn how not to lose and then keep breaking even until you learn how to win. It’s a long process not a system to follow.

    What is your average return on investment per year (in percentage) for the past 10 years? Any scalpers who have done this 10+ years, feel free to answer.
    Why would anyone waste their day staring at a computer screen to make trades if their strategy could just be algorithmically running?

    Scalping for me is 1:1 risk:reward with 10 cents target meaning you risk 10 cents to make 10 cents, keep your win ratio higher than 50% and you're profitable

    • @nimsi3
      @nimsi3 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi, can you please clarify win ratio? In this example if i win 50% and lose 50% on a 1:1 risk:reward wouldn't it break even? will be great if you can please give a few examples so others can benefit as well. Thank you.

    • @paladdin1500
      @paladdin1500 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      nimsi3 If your win ratio is 50% you’ll breakeven. It has to be higher. For example 60% win ratio, you’ll gain 6R and lose 4R, you keep 2R.
      Keep in mind that scalping is not for beginner traders. It is very hard. Experienced traders have higher win ratio around 70-80% and even more.
      The other factor is that you have to cash no less than 10 cents on all your winners. If you cut your winners shorter and let your losers hit the 10 cents stop, even with a 60 % or higher you still lose

    I can only start from a little account.
    I need help to comprehend if the equipment I have if I can possibly trade from it as intraday trading to presume to make a portfolio from trading across commodities,stocks, penny stocks, and kryptos but from micro sized contracts to execute trades. I need help picking out a broker, platform, charting tools because so far as I got their is not one single American broker popping-up as a one stop broker for micro-sized contracts/ fractional shares.
    I couldn't get enough information and consistency of the information on the internet so I got on the fon(yes I spelled it differently) and called to Ameritrade tooted as being the best for beginners. Ha, what a bunch if shit. The bastard rationed me on the amount of questions I could ask.
    Every time I thought I knew enough to pick a broker than I start seeing more on types of issues raising questions for equipment, software, platforms slippage, lag, and some other terms regarding position order placing and closing a position trade, initially articles lacking of information on the types of data, data speeds(level2) and position order requirements especially because I am over-the-road needing to do Mobile tradin so without enough money to start many accounts with SEPERATE brokers and then cancel them if they are bad and fight to get your money back at expense while keeping another going and needing to get a vehicle I crashed a little.
    After-the-fact of a minutes turning you off the first time I clicked on your channel for being akin to a violent hurricane compared to what now clearly looks like beyond over-simplifying trading, I watch you guys because of all the jargon/slang at the fast pace.
