80 to 160 head depending on bulkiness of the feed...ie higher hay rations such as for cows equals less head. Higher grain rations for feedlot cattle equals more head/load. Thanks for watching and commenting make sure to subscribe
Thanks for that one!!! Great video, I enjoyed it allot. I like the Kuhn. It seems to work very well and mixes allot faster and better than the keenan. I should look into trading mine in on a Kuhn. It also has way more capacity so it will save time not having to mix as many loads. I struggle with the grass hey as well. It's very tuff but what I've found is adding water with a strong hose pipe while it shreds thebale helps it break up easier and seems to help it mix better too although your Kuhn seems to mix just fine.
i use mixer to grind hay for cows as those loads i use a full bale. i still have hay grinder come to grind for feeder cattle. advantage of commercial hay grinder is i can blend different qualities of bales.....maybe ill do a video sometime about that and little more about the mixer
Why not make cornsilage? Maybe you don't have any corn ground to do so? It just seems corn silage followed by cereal rye or triticale would yield you max tons of feed per acre in our part of the world. Not telling you what to do as I understand the ideal situation isn't always posssible.
Looks like a perfect match. The tractor looks good and works good with that kuhn!
they seem to get along!
Great video. You're one of my favorite youtubers.
thank you for watching and saying that!!
How many head will a mixer load feed? Just found your channel today and I always enjoy channels that pertain to livestock.

oh and glad you enjoyed. i finally got around to it i know you asked awhile back!
You should do a video of the 6125m working at night. Or just a view of what the light look like at night.
maybe in month or two when i get into cornstalk baling. but yes will do sometime
What size bale did you put in? 5x5? Do you think that mixer would be big enough for two 4×4 bales?
+Brad Thesing yes but not at same time
Do you ever have a commercial grinder come in or do you grind it all in the mixer
