Thanks for posting! One trick that’s a game changer is double campfires for each chicken. They cook in just one round, giving much more cash than any other setup
game changer for me. i got to the final stage without understanding that you could cook chickens. the final stage got a whole lot easier once i watched this video!
Damn, I was getting pretty far with my perfects, but the last stage made me scream and squirm, really hard to find a way to not take damage. Hopefully with this help I can do it. I was recording the perfects as I went just in case no one else puts it up on the internet, but seems I've been beat, haha. Good job
Had to look for a guide after having such trouble on the oasis level. A thing could be improved upon: have chickens and campfires in a checkered pattern and have them cook in a single turn, you get massive ammounts of food per turn. I'll return to this guide if I keep having trouble trying to cherry this game!
I had a wildly different Four Emperors strategy (in the end it is all the same) but perfecting that after two days of trying was so satisfying. How brutal.
I like how in the beginning stages, they’re whoopin’ on the baddies themselves for the most part, and in the end, they’re making sure the resources are being spent to keep the army bolstered up, and ends up sitting around most of the time. Makes me think of work place hierarchies; if the bosses are knowledgeable and have the respect of their crew, things work out great. Lol, imagine if they put in another element where if your kills don’t average out with your army, the soldiers start slacking off or get some other debuff, due to disrespect 😂

I was just going to say, 54:56 criss crossing the chickens and fires here gets them cooked in one go
yeah i basically added this strat to the ones in the video and just finally got my first 4 emps win! which also got me the cherry!
Yeah it's kind of tragic this person got the cherry without knowing that, it's basically a VGMyths challenge run.

Thanks for the strats! The first 5 waves of four emperors were so hard to get through without taking damage! After that it was smooth sailing.
that oasis stage kicked my ass. thanks for the assist!

I've been underestimating the power of self-upgrades all this time. The ability to wipe the floor with weaker enemies is insane.
These are the strats I needed!! Ty
Great playthrough, I'm excited to see what speedruns end up looking like.
god that last level is fucking nuts lmao
I’m on the last one but I swear Jungle rush was the most annoying for me I wanted to come back see how you handled it
ahhh thank you so much
A look into an alternative universe where tower defense would be popular in the 80s
I noticed you don’t rely on campfires to boost your units. Any reason for that?
i didn't know i could upgrade my character in the base!!
Same, this is huge intel
