Went fishing for the first time in my life. It took a lot of patience, but it was worth it in the end. Also saw a monitor lizard right outside our house. It was scary, but very normal for the locals. I'm visiting my mother's hometown in West Bengal, a small village named Srirampur near Buniadpur. I was born here, but a lot has changed ever since. One thing that has not changed is the village life, cooking on chulhas, breeding animals and birds, simplicity of life, nothing beats this. Riding motorcycle in the small lanes of the fields, market, and everything will be cherished.
