I think it's cool how aware you are of your temperament during games, and appreciate that you work to improve yourself. A lot of folks forget there's a person sitting across the table from you that's trying to have a good time. Great job!

Those goals for tournaments are actually what we should all strive for. It's so easy to get tilted in this game when dice really dont go your way or you make a mistake and then realize too late. Going into events just trying to have a good time with lesser expectations is bound to work because after all, we play the game to have fun and for those awersome dice rolling, building-throwing, superpower using moments and we should appreciate them, if they happen to be by our own actions or our opponents!

Thank you for taking the time to design! I used Black Knight in my charity game against Ben to quite a powerful effect.

Nate I appreciate your perspective on goals and expectations for events. MCP is my first war-gaming endeavor (I've played a lot of board games/RPGs previously) Understanding the competitive aspect of the game and learning to enjoy the experience regardless of wins/losses is a process that I think is healthy for everyone to learn and grow from. What better way to learn then to lose and fail!? I've yet to make it to a tournament but definitely taking this mindset with me when I attend my first event.

Hey it’s my first real experience with a war game too so I dare say you are in good company!
Events big or small are really fun even if in different ways.
The podcast coming out next Tuesday dives into tournament prep even further and with other perspectives on the topic. It should make for a great listen if you enjoy the topic.

I bet that you would win Everwinter, now I owe Ron a breakfast sammie. Looking forward to gambling on your tournament outcomes in the future.😊

Haha betting on a man playing Loki memes is a dangerous way to go about it 😉

It’s not an awful option and allows for an even safer midline extract even outside of Steve’s leadership, but I really like the amount of control my avengers list has and don’t want to give that aspect up.
