The video is short and simple. My question is, there is a lot of gap in between CC by ISC2 / CEH/ security + and CISSP. One does security + and stuff for getting into the industry and CISSP for managerial positions, though you can give the exam you will get a Associate of ISC2 …which you can’t disclose what exam you gave …So what can a 1-2 yr experience person do to maintain the demand in the industry. Thanks!
Hi Tasha, Thank you so much for your question on what a person with 1 to 2 years in the industry can do to maintain demand in the industry. In terms of certifications, I have spoken with several security professionals who have recommended the eJPT, it is a junior pentester certification. That might be something of interest for you. Another thing to consider is building competence in the sector of security you want to dive further into. Like if you want to dive further into incident response, then maybe write some scripts and learn more about incident response or any other division in cybersecurity. I hope this helps! 😊
