I so appreciate these life changing, liberating messages. Seeing ourselves as God sees us, yet He loves us still, is just wonderful.

Pastor Begg opens the word as beautifully as a blooming rose unfolds its beauty within.

Loved this! That makes so much more sense. God. Is. Sovereign.

"After His own heart" is a Divine election verse! I love it.

I thought verse 7 meant that our hearts are not good but they bend to God's love in obedience. I cannot wait to listen to part two.

I'm surprised that Acts 13:22 didn't get a mention, when it partly quotes this passage, talking about David as a man after God's own heart. Paul's addition of what seems to be a reference to Psalm 89 (also about David) seems to support what Pastor Begg concludes: this is about the fulfilment of God's purposes, rather than elevating David as some sort of super-saint.

Sauls line is cut off due to disobedience but disobedient David’s continues with Solomon (who follows false gods? ) I don’t understand ? Any comments to help

Keep listening. I am sure the answer will come. The kingdom was divided after King Solomon. I will listen with you.
