Stuff While RVing & Enjoying Magnolia Market

- On this Airstream Life vLog, we take you with us to Magnolia Market in Waco TX where we enjoy the atmosphere with buying any more stuff for the Airstream. The Magnolia Market shop was as adorable as we anticipated. We watched FIxer Upper on our patio while learning how to live in our Airstream so this show and this place has a special place in our hearts and in our tiny living journey. So we knew we had to make a trip here while we were in Texas.
BUT you can go to Magnolia without spending a lot of money or buying a bunch of stuff. We enjoyed browsing the shops and getting ideas but didn't end up buying anything. Well, that's not quite true. We did buy a caramel apple and a hot coffee to enjoy in the silo space. They have a lovely area where kids can play, with free water stations and big farmers tables so you can sit back and enjoy the atmosphere. So if you are in the area we definitely recommend coming by to experience it.
On the way home, we did stop and buy something. Courtney's birthday is coming up and instead of something from Magnolia market, she decided she wanted a tortilla press to make homemade corn tortillas. Homemade corn tortillas are something we miss when we travel (we know where to find them in Tucson) so this is a perfect present. Yes, it is something new we have to store in the Airstream but if it brings us joy and we use it often, then its totally worth it!
What stuff do you keep in your RV because it brings you joy? Do you have a hard time not buying new things?

We were in Temple, TX at the same time you guys were in Waco. So close! We've stayed at all of the Corp of Engineer parks on Lake Waco. Another nice park in the area is Mother Neff State Park.
Now I’m looking for a tortilla press. Lol

Magnolia is a great place to visit along with the Dr. Pepper museum. Your spot near the lake is beautiful. When we visit TX, have family there, we fall in love with it more and more. Most likely we will make TX our domicile when we go full time. Definitely won’t be Upstate NY where we are now. Thanks for taking us along and for keeping our dreams alive.
We love the show and Vicki really wants to go there! So we will be making sure to stop when we get down to Texas later this year. HEB is awesome and I love their meats.

It was great seeing Penny and Patty enjoying being outside! That campsite looks larger than most, with a large area for them to run and play!

It's actually the recipe from the bag of masa flour we bought haha! I'm going to be doing some experimenting with making flavored tortillas in the future though.
Lucky you, hardly any crowds (not counting the beautiful weather)! We visited Magnolia offseason, and in the morning, but still had a good size crowd to deal with. Cool place for sure. When we lived in DFW area HEB was still a typical grocery store; did most of my shopping there. Always had a good variety of Mexican spices, ingredients, and wares. Love the tortilla press! Still sad we can't meet up but happy to see your newest video!
Did you get Julio’s hot sauce (usually near sour cream section) at HEB....awesome! HEB Guacamole is very good too, if you don’t want to make it yourself. BTW, love your knitted hats.

Magnolia Farms is a great tourist stop. The Dr Pepper Museum is another great place to see in Waco, Vitec BBQ, Georges, and there are several food stops on the circle.
Bought a mug, t shirt and a faux magnolia. Ate at Magnolia Table. Prices are better at Target. But it’s a fun place to visit and browse.
It’s cool. It’s expensive. It’s a tourist trap. The bakery has good treats. Their original store has all the sales and some great buys.

We were at Speegleville which is one of the Corp of Engineer Campgrounds on Lake Waco. We really liked it! Meanwhile we always have a link to where we are camping in the descriptions of our videos :)
I loved seeing you two at Magnolia Market reminding me of two kids in a candy store. I am a fan of Fixer Upper also so I am not making fun of you. Seeing some artifacts from memorable episodes of Fixer Upper on display for sale was cool. I admire your discipline to buy nothing there but in the near future I expect to have you show us the inside of Charlie redesigned with one wall nothing but shiplap. 😊

Yes! We miss the homemade ones we can get in Tucson. They are much more flexible and taste better than the kind you can get from a grocery store.
I know I’m old... but a tortilla press? So you bought a rolling pin and a frying pan? Oh SNAP! Was I wrong. My bad. LMAO!

hey guys I think that wasn't fair what you did not want to buy a t-shirt or a hat you can wear a t-shirt or you could wear a hat you know why you were at the store you didn't have to tell her she didn't couldn't buy anything or she would have to get rid of something else that wasn't really fair I like your show but I think you guys should be more willing to buy T-shirts or hats at the thing not just coffee or something sweet you should be willing to you know you know you can still wear baseball caps and t-shirts you know people on the road collect baseball caps and t-shirts and also magnets you guys should try to do that should be better for you
