16:29 If you read the novel Kingmaker, it shows how the Valiant fights with the harpoon and flamer, it's absoluately badass. Being a melee focused Castellan frame, the harpoon allows the Valiant to pull enemies into melee range. And after the enemy is dead it becomes a meatshield for the Valiant
Important question: Are Chosen just Bladeguard for CSM? Also, Ghostkeel is defnitely the coolest (non-unique) Tau battlesuit. Also, as long as you don't pick any Domitus class knight for IK, you are fine. Also, leagues? Leagues of what, Ann??

CSM base model legionary is much cooler than any other base Frontline infantry. The Chaos knights have the ability to really flex your modification muscles, I have a knight tyrant from the imperial knights kit that I am Turing into Swamp thing, with mud and vines and debris that will be covering it.

I realize it's not a defining feature of Dante so it isn't a huge deal, but it's crazy to me the backlash people have had over the new blood angel baby wings when Dante has those and people love his model
My guess is because old Dante didn’t have them, so it’s adding on to be closer to what they liked While the SG models used to have far bigger ones that got taken away. And psychologically, humans really don’t like to lose stuff.

New Master of Possession and the new Foot Chaos Lord also gets an honorable, mention imo. But i play Chaos I could talk them up all day. Blood Angels: Maphiston Lord Of Blood, perfect BA mini. I personally think that the Macharius is by far the best looking tank for the IG. Such a uniquely awesome design, with tons of great little details, and it's a super heavy which I love.
So many cool models...why do they have to cost so much? I am looking forward to painting some of these in the future..for now I need to get though quite the backlog. The worst is when you take a hobby break, return to an army and find out you missed a cool model that is no longer available to buy...and can't justify ebay overpricing...if you can even find it.
Gonna disagree here. Best BA models are Death Company with jump packs, the first born models. They just have sooooo much customization/flavor. Dante looks great, but DC get my vote

As a Flesh Tearers player who reads the lore also, Seth going away and the Sang Guard being just basic jump intercessors hits hard. Just red Ultramarines.
I sooo agree about the Knight Rampager. It's just so epic looking! Does it make sense? Who cares, it's a giant knight with weapons that look BRUTAL. I'll back up right side Kieran - Bladeguard are so up there, they're lovely. They're awesome. Only thing better than them is the Eradicators ~_^ Also agree on the Brutalis. GIVE THEM THE CLAWWWWWS!! Bel'lakor is one that... Yeah. No desire for that army, but oh boy, I want to paint that model, even if it's a stupidly expensive $200 CAD now at GW's prices...
The Monolith has Borg Cube vibes for sure. I have a soft spot for the T'au stealth suits. Battletech was my first tabletop wargame in the mid 80s, and they remind me of the Clans 'Toad' battlesuit. Not their best kit by far. I just love 'em.
tbf there are certain generic models in other ranges that could in lore beat a custodes one on one, but they would be characters (overlords, crypteks, exalted sorcerers, solitaires) but they do have the strongest battleline bar knights (although I'd give custodes a fair chance against armigers/wardogs)
GSC just need some love in general. The faction plays poorly at the moment. We need a really heavy vehicle so some sort of drilldozer would be awesome, with heavy anti vehicle capabilities. We have an abundance of characters.
Voted for the Khorne Berzerker kit as kit of the year last year. They’re awesome and great fun to build and paint. Re my 2nd army GSC, I think they have a lot of nice models but no showstoppers. Patriarch is actually cool and bigger than you think; I love Kelermorph gunslinger and the bomber gal. As a Necromunda player though have to shout out the neophyte kit as well.

Loved the video guys! Subscribed! I would like a friendly recommendation is that personally for my content I found adding subtle background music was really powerful for higher engagement. Want to see brothers of the imperium succeed as best as I can! Looking forward to diving into other videos here
Pt 2 Wolves: Bjorn. You can't take the Box from me GW. Guard: Krieg and Baneblade. Admech: Crab Tank and Tech Priest Dominous, the little guy built like Cawl Custodies: Contemptor-Galatus Dreadnought. Cheating probably, but its a sexy mech with a sword and shield. Orks: Deffdread, though honorable mention to Warboss in mega armor and Mozrog Skragbad for his sharksquig. Agents of the Imperium: Grayfax is a nice Inquisitor, Corvus Blackstar would be my Deathwatch choice. Space Marines. I have to say Redemptor dread (brutalis and the other one are included, same mini different weapon set) everything else i can point to ang go "Chaos did it better) Demons: Be'lakor, yeah hes an insane mini. World Eaters the Lord Invocatis i think is his name. The guy on the demon rino monster. Juggernaut i think its called? Genestealer: Kellermorph. You know those giant rock cutters designed for deep earth drilling? The things that are the size of a mountain and have a circular saw larger than a house? Thats what Genestealers need.
I am just surprised by picking Robutte, as I'd argue it's one of the worst miniatures GW makes as far as apinting is concerned. It's so incredibly busy, and so prescriptive, we are more coloring than paitning. When you look at how a golden demon winner paints it, and look at how a middle of the road painter handles it, there's the smallest difference between models I have ever seen. You can NMM it, and do some OSL around the sword, but it's all terrible with mini so busy it's probably running the entire imperium.
Eldar main here. Avatar of Khaine is a great design but imo it's basically chaos looking which I dislike. Crimson hunter, Rangers, skatrach wraightknight, guardians all look dope

tbf there are certain generic models in other ranges that could in lore beat a custodes one on one, but they would be characters (overlords, crypteks, exalted sorcerers, solitaires) but they do have the strongest battleline bar knights (although I'd give custodes a fair chance against armigers/wardogs)

GSC just need some love in general. The faction plays poorly at the moment. We need a really heavy vehicle so some sort of drilldozer would be awesome, with heavy anti vehicle capabilities. We have an abundance of characters.
Some thicc units would be super cool for GSC, you can guarantee that they'd look amazing too.

Voted for the Khorne Berzerker kit as kit of the year last year. They’re awesome and great fun to build and paint.
Re my 2nd army GSC, I think they have a lot of nice models but no showstoppers. Patriarch is actually cool and bigger than you think; I love Kelermorph gunslinger and the bomber gal. As a Necromunda player though have to shout out the neophyte kit as well.

I am just surprised by picking Robutte, as I'd argue it's one of the worst miniatures GW makes as far as apinting is concerned. It's so incredibly busy, and so prescriptive, we are more coloring than paitning. When you look at how a golden demon winner paints it, and look at how a middle of the road painter handles it, there's the smallest difference between models I have ever seen. You can NMM it, and do some OSL around the sword, but it's all terrible with mini so busy it's probably running the entire imperium.
That's an interesting take! Haven't really thought of it like that before. I suppose the Thousand Sons models suffer with the same success?
Eldar main here. Avatar of Khaine is a great design but imo it's basically chaos looking which I dislike.
