Here's a rarity. This is launch day of Nickelodeon UK on September 1st, 1993, and the first ever "Transatlantic Slime."
The clip begins with the end of the premiere of Get the Picture UK.

Both Moira and Mike O'Malley would later host GUTS. As an American, didn't really know that Nickelodeon UK was a thing. What a neat little factoid I guess.

@@hostsathome7390 It was all filmed at the same time and then presented as 'live' a week or two later.

@@andyg8774 It wasn't actually live, but it _was_ a true simulcast. On Nickelodeon US, the show began at 1:30 PM Eastern (due to the five-hour time difference). Eleven-year-old me was fascinated by the whole thing - including the opportunity to see the UK version of _Get the Picture,_ which was never televised in the US again.

That transatlantic "simultaneous" sliming went about as well as Rockapella trying to sing the Where in the World is Carmen Sandiego? theme song over Zoom 😂.
I swear I saw this when I was about 5ish years old in the US. I vividly remember the keyboard from the bonus round and all the kids getting slimed afterwards on TV when I was younger.
WOW. Get the Picture UK?! Oh, how I wish there was more than just this clip! I'm *such* a big GtP fan! But given how, um, broken... certain aspects of the GtP format were, it's impressive that they tried it in '93...

What were the broken aspects?
A fast-paced and highly visual kids' quiz show played on a giant video monitor wall. Contestants had to use their knowledge and visual perception to uncover hidden pictures. Each episode culminated in a bonus round in which the winning team identified computer-controlled pictures.
I'm hoping if there is more episodes or a slight clips of the British version of Get the Picture in the future, I'm probably sure if Paramount Global still has these episodes of GtP UK in its vaults just to air it on Challenge in the future if they got permission.
