The Providence Friars and Georgetown Hoyas faced off in a highly anticipated Big East showdown, and the energy inside Amica Mutual Pavilion was electric from the start. Providence, fueled by a raucous home crowd, came out aggressive on both ends of the floor, setting the tone with intense defense and fast-break scoring.
