@PinoyKun32 yes, but there are i think 2 sequences in the fight where the boss flies around to reposition herself, completely blocking off cannon damage. It doesn't take too long, though.
@lilommy since the canons are the only thing that can deal damage, yes you can equip the guitar and still win the fight. It'll be a bit troublesome dodging some note formations without attacks though
@sinpermansigma Laharl took his own life to save Flonne in Disgaea 1. Asagi ended up killing herself (by accident) in the first Prinny game when she added a detonation device to her Prinny suit during the final battle with her.
@Ed2Bobobo Since the dialogues are all in Japanese, i'm just assuming the clearest explanation: it's a reality show to find out the best Asagi, and this Kurosugi Asagi is planning to invade the netherworld using a giant ship called Yoshitsuna (like in Makai Kingdom) and Prinny Asagi is there to stop it, hoping to atone for her "sins" and reincarnate out of Prinnyhood.
@Ian13456 collect the tickets, finish the main story, then pick the 2nd option after the credits finish. You don't play Asagi mode from a new game, you play it in the same file.
@lilommy sure why not? Besides, in Hell's Finest you take 50% damage per hit, so it's a minimum of 2 hits for 1 death. You can also replenish the bar by killing the notes. I'll probably upload a no-hits hell's finest version of some harder bosses when I feel like it. This boss isn't too hard to master at all since the attack pattern is all the same. Not to mention this was only my 3rd try against it.
@lilommy i probably won't be getting any DLC for the game. As for the chainsaw it'll just be the same fight, i just won't be attacking the flying notes.
@MercyVirus Prinny 2's localization took nearly 3x more time than Prinny 1 and it still has crappy VA. Prinny is a niche game from a niche company, it can't be helped that there's not much profit for it in the US compared to JPN. I just noticed the error i made in my previous reply to michaeltaker: i meant "released way earlier than America"
@Silverfan96 Collect all the torn tickets at the base every hour or you can cheat and put in a code on the title screen (Triangle, square, circle, triangle, square, circle, x, over new game and you can start Asagi Wars before the normal story mode. Of course, that was when I bought it off of PSN...)
Okay, now try all those bosses on Hells finest, with only the eggplant. It took four hours but I beat the final boss. God that level would not have been worth redoing...

@Zakurako
that code only gives you a special cutscene about Asagi Wars, not the actual mode.
@michaeltaker
all NIS games are released way earlier than Japan. In fact, we're just lucky Prinny 2 is even being localized after a whole year.

can someone tell me why the hell this wasn't released in the US?
@xarugas I collected all of the torn tickets but nothing happens when I press new game.
what was the song that played at the first part of the fight?
the game is out already in japan!?!?!?! thats like a year earlier than america!!!!!!!!!!!
@Ian13456
collect all 10 Asagi Tickets in the town area during each hour of the main story.

@ChaosTFox
There's no official proof that NIS isn't localizing it.

How Do I unlock Asagi mode?
must memorize the pattern and actually use my weapons...
What's basically the plot of Asagi Wars?

That part looked way to close for comfort.
@MrTheAWESOMEguy
don't take the game THAT seriously. :P
