It's actually an interesting question. Most of us don't know too much about our parents, because they're not world famous and we find it odd to ask. I've heard all his other daughters speak, and they answer questions directly. She was incoherent, some questions she answered with an unrelated answer. That's a sign of early dementia.
Malcolm X was the greatest son of African descent he is still celebrated in the African Diaspora and the whole world. A fearless leader fighter liberator and defender of the people of color. He shook America and terrified Europe omg he was a warrior and a champion of justice. His spirit and ideas still lives among. The legend visited my African country about 3 times in the late 50s and early 60

I don't think she meant to be insensitive or sound 'lame' I think it was b/c she knew how controversial she, her father, the subject matter, and how difficult it may have been to snare someone of that level of importance for such a low-level interview; all of that combined may have played into her interview style. Also, just as a side-note there was probably a level of fear at the television station having someone from that family on-site: controversial, black, militant, still labeled as a "dangerous faction" by some in government circles. Oh, and did I mention the one about the fact one of her mother (Betty Shabazz's) own grandkids murdered their granmother !! Yeah.....I can see the network wanting to play it safe.
