I like the look of the wide front wherls with the white steelwheels in the back...Just the way how it is...great to see it's coming together step by step. Cheers frim Germany.🫶😊
Great video Mike little by little you're getting there with Smokey. The big wheel and tire look best. Looking forward to your next video stay safe Mike and Dad.
Big boot looks good see few in Australia running around with the big wheels on the steer hope your darn engine is coming soon so smokey can go for a run up and down the road soon to
Over here in New Zealand, we run the offset rims with a 385 tyre as a "super single" which allows us an extra 1000kg on a front axle. The also get commonly run with a 305 tyre if the 385 proves to be a bit big. Looks way better than the littlies in my opinion
Yeah buddy... I REALLY like the looks of the 385's. Always have. I had them on my 79 KW W900L. I've never had them on a K100 before but in my tiny little brain, I have a feeling that they will make the cabover ride smoother. Mine did.
Far better with bigger diameter wheels up front, I'm OK with the normal steel one, I'm guessing the really big one will just make it that much harder to get into the truck, however cool it looks. Go on, do the in-frame!
We have a K100E in norway with 385’s on the front😎 Looks nice that way😎 And i think this on guy in netherland has a K100E with 385’s to😎 Still in trafick😎
The super singles look good but they don’t improve ride or handling. If you hit a bad enough pothole it would kick hard and nearly rip the steering wheel out of my hand. I had them on a K104 but swapped them for 295/80 R22.5 on 9” offset wheels. Same look but rode and handled way better.
Hi Mike, the wide tires look better I think, and as for the stuck petals , couldn't you set them in a solution over night, it might just loosing things up. The trucks are looking good.
my curiosity has arisen.....whats the 3 pin plug hanging down at the 17.30ish mark? Loads of K100-200 series here in Oz have wide steer tires. EDIT: you have specialized tool outside for getting the tire started onto the rim....................frontend loader! just push down with flat of the bucket until tire pops on! saves hammering and mucking about.... also could you use a wheel dolly to slide the tire onto the hub easier?
I think 1100 24.5 on polished aluminum budds would be the right look, but maybe when you put the bumper back on, I don't know!!!! Just looks kinda awkward to me. Soak that pedal in Evaporust overnight, in the morning, free as a bird!! Great job Mike!!!
needs a chunky set of rear tires on wider rims to make it look real tough..... EDIT: the 385s look great.............wider rubber flares at least wont be expensive!
Mike why not take the seats to an auto upholstery shop and have them repack and pick out the leather and look you want. If you were in Atlanta I’d take you to the ultimate shop
I got a cheap rattlegun off ebay supposed to be 800nm..........have to crack the wheel nuts first before I use it!! Weak as P!$$.....its good quality is it was cheap lol
1000 n-m equates to 737 foot-pounds. How much torque on those lug nuts? Maybe the new battery powered tool is not as powerful as advertised? The wide front wheel/tire does look bad arse.
I,m old school Mike but hey its your truck if it looks good to you that all that counts but would hand tourqe them wheel nuts my buddy changed a tire on a 62 Impala classic street rod and did not torque them by hand just his impact and the wheel came off going to a car show the same day tore up his fender on his car
The flotation tires look goofy to me, The wheels that where on it with bigger tires like on the white wheel would look a lot better than the big flotation wheels & giant cement truck tires.
That large steer tyre looks the business Mike, like it. 👌👌👌
The big ones for sure!!!!
That's one beefy steer tire, looks great.
Sir, the big one looks the best. The big boots are the best😅
Looks much better!
Those big boots look awesome!!!
Big boots look nice!
It looks very cool👍
I like the look of the wide front wherls with the white steelwheels in the back...Just the way how it is...great to see it's coming together step by step.
Cheers frim Germany.🫶😊
The Duke was my favorite so far. I really enjoy seeing your Dad, he's a great supervisor. Smokey is coming along.👍👍
You have come a long ways with this truck looks great
Love the big wheels on the k 100 buddy
big boots & a really deep bumper♥
Great video Mike little by little you're getting there with Smokey. The big wheel and tire look best. Looking forward to your next video stay safe Mike and Dad.

I have always loved the wide tires on the fronts of semis, I know they they have a purpose but they just look mean too
That looks awesome 😊😊😊😊😊.
The big tire looks pretty good mike
That is the way it should be. Big truck big tires
Them floatation tyres look smik mike once it’s got the engine in and the bumper back in it’ll look amazing and the cab painted
LOOKS GOOD
What you’ll need to watch is the tyre coming up and smashing the step area, we ran the 9” off sets on the k104’s and they did that
Thay look cool
Looks great
Yes I like the heavy haul wheels, but anything is better than those small chrome wheels ya had on Smokey
That looks awesome. A big improvement from what was on there
I like the big meaty tire on the front. It looks great to me! I think you got a winner
Big boots for sure.

Coming along well, keep the super singles on the front 👌
lookin well mike. keep her going💪😎
Big Boots!!!!
the supper single looks good
i really like the big ones and think they look good on the truck
I like the big tires…looks tough! Better than the little girly ones you had on.
Excellent 👌
My pedal was stuck the same way, I pulled the saft out first, then freed up the plunger.
Far better with bigger diameter wheels up front, I'm OK with the normal steel one, I'm guessing the really big one will just make it that much harder to get into the truck, however cool it looks. Go on, do the in-frame!
Need to look into some fabric dye. That might work for the arm rest on the passenger side.
I say no to the big tires, looks like a dump truck.
We have a K100E in norway with 385’s on the front😎 Looks nice that way😎 And i think this on guy in netherland has a K100E with 385’s to😎 Still in trafick😎
James pretty just fixed his on the Pete co tow truck same issue on brake pedal
I like the big boot look, maybe a 265 would look more at home.. my $.02. Your truck, your call at the end of day.
Bigger tires are definitely have the cool factor
Hi Mike you’ve probably seen James Pretty’s KW has those big tires on the front and I think they look awesome.
Those Wheels look much better
Super singles is nice but in my opinion you should put them on the back also
Tha would be cool
Much better looking wheels and tires

Big looks much better
I like it looks right.

Yep, everything corroded….Never Seize on EVERYTHING you put back together!

Sometimes looking cool is good enough. 😂. Paint the arm rest with upholstery paint.
Looks like the wheel James Pretty has on Krystal
I got a cheap rattlegun off ebay supposed to be 800nm..........have to crack the wheel nuts first before I use it!! Weak as P!$$.....its good quality is it was cheap lol
Driver side looks better then passenger side
The 385 looks a whole lot better and beefier
1000 n-m equates to 737 foot-pounds. How much torque on those lug nuts? Maybe the new battery powered tool is not as powerful as advertised? The wide front wheel/tire does look bad arse.
Put a locking nut try that
*lots of fun was here* 💋🏊thanks for sharing your massive awesome garage journeys! good luck!🍒🍌yup! keep on Trucking!
I think I would be going to get that engine, seems like the guy doesn,t want to deliver it very badly.
I tried to go get it.
I like the beefy tire better
You get any nibbles on the house and shop yer
Have you heard anything about new engine yet Mike
It's supposed to arrive e today 🤞
Big boot looks better
where's the new engine
Could always dye that armrest black
Mike they look alea]]]]]]]]]]]]]]]]]]]]]]
Looks bad a$$ with the super single
I,m old school Mike but hey its your truck if it looks good to you that all that counts but would hand tourqe them wheel nuts my buddy changed a tire on a 62 Impala classic street rod and did not torque them by hand just his impact and the wheel came off going to a car show the same day tore up his fender on his car
OMG that's awful
ya he was not happy that day so be careful and be safe Mike will be watching buddy
Are you and your wife and father going to MATS this year?
Probably not
The flotation tires look goofy to me, The wheels that where on it with bigger tires like on the white wheel would look a lot better than the big flotation wheels & giant cement truck tires.
Put a carpet down
Can you mates help you or your son help finish the truck
truth be told it looks like shit cause its not a long nose coal truck the other wheel you had on it looked a 1000 times better
put dual wheels on your vette thas how dumb it looks
That’s what I run looks way better
A lot of talk and no action. Less talk and more work.
Luv it she looks mean now better than those pizza cutters
