- The FlyLady Plus app is absolutely the easiest way to keep up with all of your FlyLady tasks but customizing it can make it perfect! Today I will show you exactly how to add & delete tasks on the FlyLady Plus app, edit rooms in a zone in the app, and even how create a new routine on FlyLady Plus. This is the step-by-step tutorial you have been needing!
From the FlyLady Plus app, you can quickly and easily track your FlyLady morning routines, afternoon routines, and evening routines; the FlyLady Weekly Home Blessing, and FlyLady Detailed Zone Cleaning Checklist. The welcome screen on the FlyLady Plus app shows the Morning Musing posted each day from THE FlyLady, Marla Cilley, as well as the Daily Mission, and Ask the FlyLady question of the day. Once you download the FlyLady Plus app, you won't be searching the website again to see what's next!

Tracking your cleaning routines does NOT have to be complicated. Basically you have a couple of options: 1. A paper list or Control Journal but you either have to make it your own and have paper/binder/ink...or download one (mine?) but still need paper and ink. 2. Create a digital routine in your digital planner. More complicated to set up but super easy to copy and reuse endlessly. Download and use the FlyLady Plus app which is free, no supplies just a phone needed, and sooo easy once it's set up. 4. Run aimlessly around your house bouncing from room to room.
Many FlyLady Plus app users have never taken the time to customize it to truly line up with your home and your routines. Taking a few minutes today to completely set things up will 100% make you more efficient at diving in and getting things done. Everything is your way, in your order, and by your own zones. WOW!

Prayer: A good friend of mine has an unspoken request for healing. I have a major problem with paper clutter and used to follow Flylady but the app looks a great way to get back into the swing of things again. I had to give up work due to disabilities and I lack a routine of keeping my home clean and tidy so it's great the app can be customised. I will definitely be checking it out. Hopefully it's available for UK users.
I would think it’s available anywhere the App Store is available. My success came when I focused on making a few things consistent daily. Start small and build.

at it. Now, I’m trying to be serious. My kids are grown and gone and I have time. Don’t always have the energy, but I have the time LOL

Terri,, thank you so much! I've Been wrecking my brain since yesterday trying to figure out how to actually change the days on which I do each zone. My cleaning schedule changes every 1-2 months, plus, at least once a year, we go to our cabin for a few months, and I am trying to create a seperate schedule for both homes. Tour plus app tutorial was very helpful! 😊
Never mind. It looked like you were able to assign your docent routines and zones to particular days of the week. I wasn't able to do that. I Llove how simple it is to create my lists. I just wish I could assign which days I want to do my zone cleaning and which days I to do my other routines. I do use a paper calendar to write out my over all plan for the week, but I need to be able to easily change things around, which is why I use digital planning as wel.
The app got an update and some of the customizing changed. I’m back to digital planning too. Tried paper for 2023 but it was a mess. I love to be able to move things around without having a ton of mistakes on the page. I’m using a planner I designed but I’ll probably make a few tweets to it for next yr.

This is very useful so thanks. Is there a way to swap home blessing day for example from the Monday to another day? Might have missed that so apologies if I have 😁
What I ended up doing is creating a weekly routine that I named Home Reset and inside of that I added my WHB tasks. It sits below my regular routines and I can check them off anytime or any day. I do not see a way to put this on a specific day like a Tuesday.

I love planning (digital and paper) but I know a lot of busy moms don’t have time to plan. This is the fastest and easiest ways to get started. I tried to add a new zone but I could not figure out how to add a whole new zone.
Did you personally add the daily focus areas as each a new routine? Im missing that in the app but think i may need to add them in manually. Thanks!
Great question! The weekly home blessing is already there but I added my other days in and the tasks that I like to include on those days.
I tried to edit a zone name but there is no “done” button like the one in your video. It doesn’t save the edit.

Thank you - this showed me it's not me, it's the app - I am unable to edit zones! When I try to move a room to a different zone, or even just create a new room, there is blank white space where the purple "done" button should be :/ Anyone else have this issue and fix it?
I was frustrated that I don’t have a timer and a ton do. I thought I was doing something wrong til a friend showed me hers and I just don’t have it.
I hope you figured this out. The “done” button is a bit hidden. You just have to press down near the border. Sometimes it takes several taps to get it.
Can I change the current zone?
You cannot change the current zone but you can jump into any zone to work and track progress.
I have the app and it does NOT let me edit. Don’t know why and I don’t see anyone else having this problem

My problem with the app is I can’t follow along with the FlyLady if change/add zones or want to loop my cleaning schedule. 😢
You are right. Flylady has not changed her schedule or zones. How are you following her? Visiting the website everyday, the emails, podcasts?
I'm going to have to contact them today...I've been trying for months to get it to work...When I first downloaded it, it let me edit it. Now I can't add or subtract anything 😢
Mine doesn’t let me add tasks once I’ve hit the “edit” pencil icon at the top. The plus sign icon at the bottom lets me add tasks when it’s not in “edit” mode. I’d check that, and if it still doesn’t work, try uninstalling your app and then redownload it.

Great vid but the app no longer lets you do ANY changes in zones other than delete a room. No more adding rooms, changing zones etc. Makes the app completely useless
