Its not just the fact that Rickley has a passionate/believable voice. Its the fact that each member from Tucker to Tom the whole band is playing totally different parts if you listen closely. If you listen to Understanding on headphones you'll realize that the bass alone is it's own seperate part. There is allot of bands that have better talent but great CHEMISTRY is the real meat and potatoes of a song and that is what makes Thursday so good.
So much better on the split than the album.
Been listening to Thursday since 01. There raw sound makes them even that much better

Haha, people have no idea how hard it is to-re-record in the studio moments like this one. When you're a band like Thursday, you truly never play a song the same way twice.

best song by thursday. this version is much better than the one on common existence. the split ep is the best album in the world to date

This split got me into Envy. I also prefer it over A City By The Light Divided and everything after that(except this split, of course)
I wish i find them earlier.
damn, i used to listen to thursday back in the full collapse, war all the time era.. really lost faith in them once a city by the light divided was released (was only a fan of at this velocity and running from the rain)... but this has given me some hope, any more songs been leaked?

thursday was popular maybe 10 years ago. Most of the people that listen to them now used to listen to them back when Full Collapse came out (at least, speaking for myself).
@Styxs420 thats crazy, i heard them 1st when i was about 18 in 2002, full collapse was out then and i think the best raw form of them, this song and songs like it are incredible though, dont know why they never play M. Shephard live
I think the last 3 thursday albums are all amazing, and much darker. Then Geoff teamed up with the rest of Lostprophets for some real crazy shit
