you are the first person I have watched that pates the paper . You have made me want to test it my self. I have used napkins on tile. Larger roller would be better also. That last one was great. I am not criticizing, just giving advise that I have been watching a lot. I am sorry if I have offended you in anyway.
I'm not sure what you said that should offend me. I don't know what you mean by 'pates the paper'. A "pate" is a person's head. And I wouldn't be offended anyway. We all have our opinions, right? Be sure to check out my videos on transferring onto glazed tiles. A pure success!
Hi Ric. Just wondering if the process you use for your video,s would work for cd/ dvds as well. It would be one way to make use of many old cd/dvd if it would work.
If you can glue paper onto CD/DVDs then you can transfer an image as well. I'm just not sure it is practical. You'll want DVDs that have no writing on it to begin with since it would likely show through the white or light color parts of your image. The best DVDs would be those with the white side where you would normally write something on them. Those would work the best. All my Blu-ray blanks have a white (write-on side) that will easily take transfers and look great. I think I'll add that to a future video. 🙂

Thank you for this tutorial and showing us what works best. Do you use inkjet?
Hi. No. Only Laser printers for this method.

What is the gel medium? Thanks
Liquitex or Blick is what I use. Or use Mod Podge, or any glue that can glue paper. Always test.
If you use a heat gun it dose better and you peal it off to fast
Early on in my experiments I would peel off within 1 minute. Now days, I recommend full dry (3-4 minutes) using heat.
