Greetings from Canada thanks for sharing this update about the actor who plays Barnaby and I've been watching here on PBS for more than 7 years but with TH-cam its always available 24/7 😊
I watched this in Australia a few months again and it was one of the best episodes of series 23…Fluer (Annette Badlands) always adds some quirky moments too. I am looking forward to series 24.
As I sort through the Midsomer Murders episodes on my dvr I can't always recall if I've seen some of them already. One of the advantages of having an aged memory is that I see a rerun with fresh eyes and pick up details I may have missed during the first viewing. The episodes are masterfully constructed to keep one from coming to any early conclusions. My late wife would get annoyed at me for figuring out episodes of "Columbo" and "McMillian and Wife" just after watching the opening. I have never been able to do such with an episode of "Midsomer Murders", much to my delight.
From the U.S.A. 🇺🇲 to Great Britain 🇬🇧 thank you , Niel Dundgeon for clearing away the rumors . I look forward for the new episodes of the Midsomer Murders . 😊😅😂
in 1988, he played a Flying Officer 'Moggy' Cattermole in the the ITV series piece of cake yet no one ever mentions it. They seem to run out of questions to ask him.
Has to be mine & my wife’s favourite.. for me being rather old my memory isn’t that great anymore so every old episode I watch with John Nettles is like watching it for the first time lol 😂
I am 90 years old and I have watched this series from the first episode. Sometimes you have to take grandpa’s keys away. I think it is time Neil Dudgeon’s keys are taken away and another younger actor take over the series. Our president Biden has the same problem, he has lost us the election by hanging on way too long. The actor who played Ben Jones was hugely popular. If he was available., he would be the perfect choice to head the series.
@pamlister452. I very much agree. Neil was supposedly John Nettles’ cousin. It would be so much better if maybe a nephew would show up wanting to follow in their footsteps. Neil does nothing for me. Even when the story changed, I much preferred Neil’s wife, dog and child to him.
One of the best shows on TV. Can't wait for the new season(s) to show up. Cheers from Newfoundland, Canada.
I love him and Midsummer Murders! I love British mysteries! 🙋🏻🇺🇲❤️
Likewise very much
The US loves you too! Go DCI Barnaby!
Love this man and his show. Fan from Newfoundland and Labrador, Canada! 😊
Looking forward to seeing more of Neil Dudgeon in Midsomer Murders. Love his sense of humor!
@@PatBackPatBack-x4n it’s the script

Already saw this whole season they’re talking about on Acorn TV in the Spring.

How are there any residents left in Midsomer?
That is my thought since centuries 😅🤣
Ha, ha!
I know, right! But it is do good!
Next: Ghosts of Midsomer’s Past. 😆
Midsomer is like a county with many villages, i would imagine like Los Angeles county and all of its cities
I love Neil and Fiona Dolman who plays his wife in MM. I hope neither of them are leaving!
I will be thrilled to see more of this show! One of my favorite!
I love the show and the characters and the stories!
My Dad loved this show and recruited me to his watch party here in the USA. Glad to hear that new shows are starting again.
People say this is an old show, but he is wearing a Remembrance Poppy for Memorial Day/Remembrance Day which was November 11.
We saw this series months ago in NZ.
Maybe those are 2023 poppies. Because the "upcoming season" they're talking about are shows that we've seen already.
I luv DCI Barnaby. Honestly I glad he is staying.
Love M M & the talents of Neil Dudgeon . I’m a fan of British television , Scottish Actors and interesting story lines with no profanity. 🎥📽️
I love Midsomer Murders ❤ Neil is so great!

Midsomer Murders and British Bake Off crossover is what I'd like to watch.
Love this show
I love this show. I have seen the one About drag queens. Please do more.
Canada loves you! 🩷🇨🇦
If God forbid to end the show Please bring back john Nettles as john Barnaby
Yes, I hope Neil returns. Way better than that Nuttles guy.
Didn't think anyone was still alive!!
Yeah! I've felt left behind......
I don't think anybody is left
Not as good as John Nettles in the role. Sorry.

This is old content!
Thought they were talking about a new series but this is a repeat.
It's talking about an episode that's was on Australian TV long time ago.
Old news - episode run more than a year ago 👎
He needs to retire. John Nettle realized it was time to move on and Neil Dudgeon needs to as well.
Starting look too old for the role

@ I would really like Jones to come back.
I am disappointed in this program. The old mysteries were real mysteries without so many fetes and fluff!
