    Thank you for these "not tutorial" videos! I have been referencing them as I get into the World of Disney and I'm sure I'll be starting the parking method as I get farther I to it (I started at the upper left corner and cross country method is still pretty easy right now). I really appreciate the paper instructions before you show on the actual fabric - it makes it soooo much easier to follow! See you soon! 💕

    I know it’s been a while since you posted this video but I love watching you stitch I’m starting my first tent stitch on a HAED on 25 count. I see you go from left to right and right to left but other people explain TENT stitch where the 1st row starts from upper right corner to lower left and across then when coming back next row you do stitches from lower left to upper right. This way the stitches do not distort the fabric. You seem to start all your threads from lower left to upper right no matter which row, which in my head is easy to remember. Do you find a problem with fabric distortion. I’m stitching on an even weave which might also make a diff as to how I should stitch. Help this newbie please 😬

    • @needleninja5788
      @needleninja5788  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi Mary 🤗 Thank You for Your comment🙏
      Yes, I always start in lower left corner. I always try to stretch my fabric with Qsnap as tight as possible and I don’t pull my threads too strong. (if that make any sense) I never had any distortion or warping in my fabric. On back of my fabric every odd row stitches are laying in like this IIIIII, and every even row like this /////. Which means less floss on back of the fabric. 👍
      My advice to You will be, Stretch Your fabric nicely and don’t pull your stitches too tight.
      Hope this helped 🤞
      Have a wonderful day Happy stitching on Your new project☀️
      Enjoy the journey 🪡🍀

    How do you keep your threads from twisting? Do you turn your needle after every stitch ? Your thread looks perfect even after completing many stitches.

    • @needleninja5788
      @needleninja5788  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi Mandy🤗 I dont do anything special. i stitch with both hands( dominant right hand under the fabric)
      I think with this method You are not going to stitch many stitches at once, and after parking You let your threads rest for awhile , thats why there is not much of twisting i think. But if that happens, i will just drop my threaded needle from back of my fabric, let it hang for a second to make it untwirl itself(if that make any sence) Hope this helped🍀 Happy Stitching

    Thank you for this. I've watched your stitch with me, and get lost when trying to figure it out. I'm fixing to do a new start and I'm going to try this! I was watching your stitch with me Mickey and you said that you had "bumps" in your beginning stitches by doing CC and I have the same issue. And it's so frustrating! I love love love watching you!! thank you for making these!

    Awesome demo!! I have been trying to end a stitch a few rows down and come up in the middle so it gets stitched over in the back and when i get to that ended stitch , i stitch over it 1 or 2 rows. I havent seen any bulk issues either.

    I got a tip from someone to watch your videos because I plan to make my next project in tent stitch on 25 count fabric. I'm so glad I got this tip. Your videos are so relaxed to watch. This video is exactly what I was looking for. I have one more question. On my other project I work in cross stitch and park diagonally and have no lines so far. I assume that with the snake method I can also work diagonally. But what do I do if more than half of my page consists of only 1 color?

  • @geriferreri3930

    Hello NN, I just started watching your videos and really love them, I have a question about the half stitch, since I’m always using the whole cross stitch does the half stitch have enough cover on the canvas to be able to use it on most of the projects?

    • @needleninja5788
      @needleninja5788  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi Geri🤗 Thank You for visiting my little channel.
      You can work with half stitch on any fabric. You will just have to decide how many strands give You good enough coverage. I’m using 2strands half stitch on 25 &28 count fabric. On 20 ct I will definitely use 3strands. I used to stitch on 14 & 16 using 4 strands of floss, but I don’t like it anymore even the coverage is ok. For me the stitches looked very thick.( if You know what I mean). Make a little patch of 5x5 block of stitches to see how You like the coverage.
      Have fun stitching and have a nice day🪡☀️
