@@elise_taylor3894 why make a point of saying you agree if we should just leave her alone/let her do what she wants? & she's clearly stated its one of her favourite starters and in restaurants they will have particular bread that is often grilled so its just me giving her some advice to make it taste even better
You should try to do a progressive dinner party with Haz and Byron. One makes starter, one makes main and one makes dessert each with a complementary drink for each dish.
Advice: -toast the bread and rub raw garlic on it - add seasoning to the feta pasta like oregano and chilli flakes -follow the little moons recipe correctly and roll the dough out thinner 😂
You need to use glutinous rice flour for mochi. The regular rice flour has a different texture. It's more crumbly. The glutinous one gives it the chewy texture.
ana: “why is the icecream so soft” also ana: * not doing as the recipe says putting them in the freezer and leaving icecream out* lol thanks for the likes
Aldi (in the US) has different mochi ice cream. Other countries with Aldi might have it too. It isn't that same brand though; I don't remember what it's called.
The pasta looks good! I would have fried the mushrooms, garlic and onions that you cut up, it was probably so overpowering with the garlic because it was added raw!!!
A little tip to reduce food wastage - freeze any fruits or veg your not going to use within the first couple of days before it goes bad, even grated cheese or bread can be frozen and then just take it out of the freezer and toast it when u want it☺️
Yeppp exactly what I was thinking, literally I love butter chicken and rice and I make big portions of it so I can freeze it and eat whenever I want, it last me a good 2 to 3 weeks
It disappoints me that mochi has been ‘rebranded’ and referred to as Little Moons now just because they’re trending - it diminishes their actual origin from Japanese culture and the fact that the actual dessert is called mochi, not the brand name :/
Mochi (‘little moons’) uses glutinous rice flour that’s how it gets its chewy texture while rice flour is used for more like savoury or not chewy dessert and dishes :))
hey ana! loving your new series, I have a few tips for the meals(these are things that worked for me when I made them) °for the pasta I found that putting the cloves of garlic in the oven with the tomatoes and feta made them taste better as opposed to putting them in raw, put it in with the skin on and then peek it off when you take the tray out of the oven and just mash into the tomato and cheese. °for the bruschetta I really like having green pesto with it and having it with toasted bread. @@evieanstead6790 she did do a good job it’s just that you can’t really call it a bruschetta lol, bruschetta is a crispy grilled bread with toppings, without the crispy part it’s not really bruschetta
GIRL there's so much I cannot cope with in this video, but just one thing, for your ice cream mochi you needed to roll out your dough A LOT thinner than that, you basically drowned it in cornflour too (you don't need that much cornflour for anything), use ice cream that hasn't been out of the freezer for ages, let your dough set etc - Basically everything that probably would be in the recipe if you would've actually followed it
When buying fruit and veg you dont have to buy multi packs, the supermarkets will have loose items that you can buy smaller amounts of what you need and then nothing goes to waste. You also really need to be careful when using knives, whilst sharp knives are the safest way to go you need to tuck your finger tips in so you dont injure yourself and perhaps maybe watch some videos on how to chop onion as it looks like you're making more work for yourself than you need to. I would also recommend frying off your garlic and onion or adding it half way through the cooking time so that you cook off the harsh edge, it will help mellow the flavour for you and 100% toast the bread for bruschetta, the marinated vegetable are just going to soak through the soft bread and make it quite cloying to eat. However its lovely to see you enjoying your own kitchen and coming to grips with adult life and looking forward to your next video x
Basically what you said summed up what I was thinking , great advice and hopefully she sees your comment. With what you said about getting loose vegetable she can get fruit and veg from outdoors markets they are so cheap and fresh and juicy but i think it’s just easy for her to go to a supermarket like if she is buying other stuff. She could always chop extra fruit or veg and freeze it to use for another time it avoid food waste and when she was making pasta it would of been better is she grated the garlic so the garlic flavour would not overpower the pasta but yeahh what you said I defo agree of 😊
