Every folk in the world are fooled by their leaders, but African leaders don't have enough vision, Occidental and Asian leaders build infrastructures that they own and earn big money with, just look at Qatar, these guys are not presidents, they OWN Qatar, but they invest in their Country, and after 15 years all these leaders make billions while African leaders eat crumbs, one solution, REPLACE THEM.

Madam Diezani Alison-Madueke and your cohorts how do you manage to sleep at night with all the money you stole while you are the petroleum minister. Have you no conscience or don't you have blood running through your veins when you see poor children at the IDP dying of malnutrition and the young men and women who perish inside the Mediterranean sea trying to get to Europe because there is limit to human endurance and poverty.
Despite all the wealth u accumulated how much have u spent on yourself, how many rooms have u slept despite having various mansions. Don't you see poor children on the street in your state of origin struggling to have a day meal and pregnant women who died due to lack of proper care and can't afford to pay hospital bills. I believe we have a God of vengeance and will reward every one of them irrespective of their religion, tribe, parties affiliated that have put the country in this situation. May the spirit of the dead haunt all of u and those who have departed this world. You will never enjoy the fruit of the stolen wealth.

I think the major problem in Nigeria is not just corruption but impunity. Criminals are being celebrated and pampered.
That Togolese president should be imprisoned for life. We are now in the 21st century so the issue of appeasing the dead does not solve any problem! Thank you.

Adeola, you are good. Our funds that have been stolen should be returned to us. How can a financial system of big countries like the US, the UK and Switzerland continue to be so porous to allow looters to keep their loot in their economy, use the loot to boost their economies and turn around to cry wolf just to give us a bad name. They too are complicit and MUST be punished. Thieves and those who aid them (in this case, these Western countries) are guilty of same offence and crime, innit (lol). I mean, when Buhari comes back (that I pray for, day and night), he should arrange to take these countries to the ICJ in the Hague for justice (i. e. if there's justice in this corrupt world any longer). Just continue to keep keeping it real. Say me, hello to your team including the boss, Sowore Omoyele. Do have a great holiday. Surely, we'll all miss you next week.

Oh My Nigeria! Is frustrating and depressing to see a country who supposed to be jewel and envious of the world now in ruins and decay all because of greed. The head is corrupt the tail is likewise. Nigeria and everything happening in her is doomed. The politicians failed, the religion leaders failed, the government failed, the old failed, the youths failed and the children are failing because they are being born into the failed system. I had watched several of your program and other events that is unfolding all around the world, this is the one that have ever touched my soul. God you are still God the unchangeable and forever living God and merciful, save the soul's that truely believe in you who store up their treasure in heaven.

That means Mariam stole or used her pos to steal N18,466,666 everyday for 30days in shoprite . How POSSIBLE??? How much is the whole of shoprite itself? How much do shoprite make in a day as a whole? Do shoprite sell new cars? Please,we request more investigation regarding this matter start from the bosses.

Unfortunately, there are many enemies of progress and curruption that makes it extremely difficult to make a significant impact in Nigeria's healthcare, but the push for progress must continue.

we Africans, especially Nigerians, we prefer spending money on luxuries which will only benefit us instead of investing on what others will enjoy. we always have this mentality of 'me & my family' & it's so disheartening. dat's why dis ppl can lavish all dis money without batting an eye. I really hope we will change someday.
and as for doz Togolese, well, dat's another problem of Africa. we prefer being superstitious to being practical. I wonder if d brutality will stop now dat dey 'appeased the dead' or when the next 'appeasing' will be? and all doz people dat participated, even d pastors, well... nice one Adeola😘😘😘

As much as I like people to be free and self governing, all these people talking about breaking up Nigeria seem to be more selfish for their own gain than having the true interest of the country at heart. Every country that divides end up becoming even poorer. Look at Sudan, the former Soviet union. Even take a look at the UK leaving the EU. The impact is already been felt nationwide. Why did Scotland drop their agenda to split from UK? It's because they will be at a worser situation than when they are part of the Union.
The Igbos are not saints. There are different clans in ibgo that don't agree with each other. This tribe can not marry from that because of senseless tradition. If they split as the Biafrans so despirately want, there leaders from be even more divided than they are now.
A people divided against themselves can not stand. Igbos have equally looted our national wealth just like any other tribe in Nigeria.
    WAKE UP FROM YOUR ILLUSIONS.

Hmm, the African situation is not only in Nigeria, it is typical for leaders to steal and loot the country of its resources and evade punishments that the common man would easily get, yet these leaders will tell us they have our best interests at heart. Its a really sad situation only a revolution can save us. Yes it would be tough but we will recover eventually, a deterrent has to be given before corruption can be eradicated else the same old situation will continue.

nee henry You will be surprised to know that the situation is not that rosy in Togo. The police receives orders from the ogas at the top to kill people and beat them mercilessly. We have have a president who is not married yet has over 11 children with his concubines that he appointed as ministers in the government. People are suffering but there is enough money to buy war helicopters worth 10 billions CFA...
3 years ago, policemen killed school children for protesting alongside their teachers concerning a raise of salaries and a demand for a better school system...
And I can go on and on...
If you want to watch live and direct news concerning Togo, type this on youtube: Bill Emile Davolk. Most of the information is in french but you will understand just by watching the videos.

nee henry I won't argue with you concerning Nigeria because I have never been there... but when it's about Togo, I know what I'm saying. The corruption in Togo has escalated to a point that it's now common to see aged grannies and kids of 9 years old protesting against the government. You have to live in that country to really know how the people are feeling... all these foreign reporters don't describe the real situation over there...
Our graduates aren't working, they only impregnate girls while they are still living under their parents roofs adding salt to the problem... they put in prison the only billionaire we have and because he was willing to create employments for the youth and his refusal to collaborate with the government... people can only succeed in that country when they accept to work with the government in charge... if you dare refuse they will frustrate you so much that you won't even recognize yourself in the mirror

I'd sieze all their monies, freeze their bank account and all their properties. I'd put them on national media so that every one will see the punishment due them. But they will not die and this pain will continue for year's without end.

Yes stealing is the number one cause of our issues but u keep talking about hospitals, do you expect this hospitals to run on generators? When will you people see that the major problem/set back on the Nigerian economy is lack of electricity?! As in Adeola you live in the States tell me one thing that can develop a country in absence of constant electricity? What is that thing? Is it education, health, security, communication, banking, transportation, water, roads, housing, agriculture, refinery, foreign investors I mean I can name on and on. How can you put this things in place without constant power? Even you don't know the problem of Nigeria that means if you go there too you may fail like this politicians too. Please leave everything and focus on constant electrification of Nigeria, that it the one stone that will kill 50 birds.

When I read people saying the problem of Nigeria is this is that, but for me and to my understanding the real problem of Nigeria is the Yorubas, don't get me wrong these are my people and I love them but they are sooo corrupt no Yoruba man can work in a place with out getting a kick back they can never see the right thing and supports it. They have the power of swinging any election in Nigeria but always will choose the wrong person just for what they will immediately get out of it

They shouldn't return the money at all it's should be seized and used to develop their own economy cuz if the cash is returned to Nigeria it will be conered by the criminals that has taken over government.
