I just got this game (mostly due to your rec) and holy cow...it was so much fun. I too like the stories it tells. Really gives you an idea of some of the fog of war and the decisions they needed to make. CAP but not too much...can I converge on the convoy? Searching the correct grid and...BAM! Bad weather and my scouts see nothing and the convoy slips away from a "sure" sinking. So much fun. Thanks for the review. Would love to take classes from you! Keep it up. -Dan

This definitely looks interesting. Watching the review I kept wondering whether it would work to find a couple of old copies of Battleship, cut the prongs off the the bottom of the carriers, and use them to represent the Yorktown, Lexington, etc. to give it a bit more pop. :)

Why is the movement using squares instead of hexes?

Not everything needs to be hexes. Instead of searching the four cardinal points, you'd be searching six directions - longer game.

Wow! Another great game reviewed by you and your channel that i will *not find* in our "Friendly Local Ga......No. You know what i just can't. The ol' "F.L.G.S." hasn't been a "F.L.G.S." for almost a "decade" on now an just no. i haven't bought a game there in "eight years!" It only exists for Euros, Wine tasting, an' givin' uppity folk a reason to use their favorite word: "Ameritrash." i don't like buying *everything* off Amazon, but i'm not supporting *that* kind of talk! What's happened to the "F.L.G.S." Cody? Now it's Amazon or the U..L.G.S. (Y'know where they sell all the WarHammer stuff and don't even *pretend* to be "Friendly." However, they are *damned* good at their jobs!) xD
