Say I make a bag it takes Abt 2 hour my hourly rate is $16, it takes abt half skein of each color yarn to make 1 bag i use 2 colors of yarn that are 4 dollars ea so i price like this
Hourly rate × how many hours + material cost so it would be
16×2+4=$36 so I sell them for $36 bucks lol sorry that was so long

@@earthlyjewels it’s the Marcel monkey pattern. I followed the same pattern for both the small and larger monkey, just used different yarn weights to get the size difference
Hello! Love watching your videos. Question: How many other crocheters have been at the markets you’ve done? I signed up for my first market back at the end of April for a mid-July market. I just found out there are AT LEAST 3 other crocheters there, possibly more. Is this normal? It’s a one day event in a smallish town

The markets I’ve had in the past usually don’t have any other crocheters, but if they do, they don’t offer plushies. They specialize in clothing and stuff like that which I don’t offer. Most organizers have been good about making sure there’s not other crochets there as I’ve actually been denied several due to having other crocheters already signed up.
I personally don’t feel as though it’s an issue because you’re more than likely not going to have the same things that the other crocheters offer and they aren’t made the same way.
But please let me know how it goes and how you feel as I love to know how it turns out for you !!
