Great video! Seems like most of the bikes I have owned now qualify as vintage. I get a sick satisfaction from bringing neglected often non-running/CHEAP bikes back on the road. Its amazing how many negleted bikes are out there. Partial list includes 1973 Honda cb750, 72 Honda cb 450, 79 Kawasaki kz1000, 3 Harleys, 1 Yamaha, all projects and now back on the road. My current ride is a barn find 84 Harley FXRT and I like it so much its now definitely a keeper. Keep wrenching and riding!

Looks like a cool place...thanks for sharing...> During later 1970's on '74 HD XLH (still have it) ... a riding buddy had one of those BSA 440 Victor(identical to motorcycle 9:30 on vid timer)single cylinder of same color yellow ...so guessing same year...We racked up allot of miles on those bikes for a few seasons...440 was a very good motorcycle that wasn't all that common to see even back then...Had ridden with a few people with BSA twins(& Triumph) of various models = a bit more common to see Brit twin cyl models...> Coldest ride on the old XLH I recall was about 20 some miles at 12 deg F & WINDY as heck...no modern riding gear back then...3/4 helmet w/ snap face shield, sheep sheer coat crammed under traditional motorcycle leather, "Snoopy" scarf (Red Barron) + long johns & thick socks,gloves,etc....NOW don't even want to go out in a heated truck in 12 deg F ....Yeah,yeah everyone up in Canada commenting "12 deg ? ...that's almost T-shirt weather!"...LOL!

Got a couple older bikes. But since I don't feel vintage yet, they aren't vintage either. But a '79 ironhead, a '78 Goldwing, and a basket case '74 CB750 chop are sharing space with a newer Ultra.
Been looking at adding a Royal Enfield to the garage myself.

Beth, riding vintage bikes is pretty much all I have done in the 50 plus years since I started riding. I am down to only 1 now, a 91 Harley Evolution Softail. my other bike is an 09 ex-cop Road King. It was good to see that Honda CBX, I remember them getting serviced at the Honda dealership I worked at in the 80s. But I was REALLY happy to see that BSA Lightning. Don't let anyone give you crap about chopping or bobbing your Ironhead. It's not like they are rare, and it is your bike, you build it the way you want so it is best for you to ride. I haven't finished watching the vid yet, I am hoping to see at least one Norton in the shop since they have a BSA and a couple of Trumpets. Seeing an old Norton (especially one that isn't a Commando) would make my day. Thanks for making this vid, you've made my day!! I'd definitely be interested in the 650 BSA Lightning, and the BSA 441 Victor.

I have two vintage motorcycles. One is a 76 cb550k which had been sitting for 20 years and its getting close to being road worthy again. The other is an 81 cb900c that I got from a guy who wrecked it pretty bad. The 900 was my first bike and its been super good to me. I don't really see a point in an antique plate unless you only take it to shows and such. If I lived anywhere near ohio I would love to visit throttle co.

I have a 1988 Lowrider Sport, I ride practically every week. It is hotted up and fit a sidecar occasionally. I don't think of it as vintage because I've had it since 1988. It is fully registered, has a hotcam, short Vance and Hines pipes, a large cardi and it get 28 mpg in it's current build and goes like a rocket with very old brakes, lots of fun. I also have a 1974 Yamaha 400 motocross bike that I raced for a a while and a 1971 Honda 500 (600cc now) four, stripped for track racing, also great fun. Next I'm getting a Savic Motorcycles C Series Alpha, electric, cafe racer style, made in Melbourne Australia.

Used to ride BSAs, Enfields Norton’s and Triumphs cause they were the cheapest bikes around like under $1000 when I was young.

Don't get toooo excited about Fl. They gotta lot of summer down there, but it also gets very wet, so you betta like riding in the rain as much as you do riding in the cold. Good video, think I'm gonna put Columbus on my list.
