David has a Christmas album from years ago titles Joy Joy. I was in a Christian book store, and being the huge fan of David Phelps that I am, I heard, very faintly, what I thought was him singing. You could barely hear him due to the hustle and bustle of the Christmas shoppers choosing their personalized gifts for their friends and loved ones. I kept asking my husband "Do you hear David Phelps in the background?" As hard as he listened he said no and looked at me as if I had lost my mind, or at least my hearing. As the shopping visit carried on I STILL felt as thought I could hear him AND THEN O Holy Night began to play and there was no question. I stepped up to the counter and asked the cashierif they had David Phelps playing on their sound system in the background and sure enough, it was him. He has an album, Joy Joy and had one left....the one in their sound system. They said it would take two weeks to get one ordered and shipped in and I just asked if I could buy the one they were playing. It was the best money I soent that Christmas. O Holy Night is not as great as the live version in Alabama you've reacted to, but there are songs on there that are excellent. I'm not asking for a reaction, I'm making a recommendation. Do You Hear What I Hear, Mary Did You Know and Birthday of a King are soooo good. The entire album is excellent and now years later , free to listen to on. TH-cam. Check it out for this upcoming Christmas season. There is no way you cannot enjoy this delight
Let me tell ya, I absolutely love David Phelps. His voice is so powerful and moving. There's so many of his songs that will make you lose it. End of the beginning is the song I first heard him sing. I saw him live once too (a long with the Gaither Vocal Band, and the Gaither Homecoming. It was an experience like no other. Imagine having church in a concert arena !! Yesss it was like that! ❤️❤️ God blessed us with voices like these. There's so many moving vocalists out there and I'm absolutely here for it. Love y'all. Be safe!
I first saw this man in a gaither video of the martins singing shut de do accapella, which was incredible and what made it even more special was that joey feek was in the audience. Joey was in a country gospel duo. It was her and her husband. Joey& Rory. Joey is up in heaven with the angels now. She gave birth to her first child and she has down syndrome. Shes adorable too. Shortly after their child was born, she found out she had cancer and sometime after that, god was ready for her. Joey had the voice of an angel. Had to let you know who joey was.
