I have so many memories of this, it was 2018 when I first touched undertale, and I loved everything, the routes, dialogues, OSTs, it was so breathtaking, and now here I am, listening to this again, feeling like a UT fanboy again, man those times were peak
I discovered undertale in 2018 too and almost inmediately got right into Timeline Lores and characters, to this day im still an undertale lover, to relax i usually put one of these bangers via bluetooth and meditate (It doesn't help but it's still cool). For me, Tokyovania is more than just a song. It is a link that connects my past with my present. Undertale influenced me a lot as a kid. Of course id didn't exactly participate in the fandom, but i did watch and listen to a lot of content and music. Undertale fan music was literally everything i listened to at some point - Falkkone's metal covers, Mafiatale covers, and of course, a LOT of versions of Stronger Than You. In middle school, probably in late 2021 or early 2022 i really got into Vocaloid. Imagine my surprise when i saw so many familiar songs... Echo, Close to You and finally, Tokyo Teddy Bear. That was probably the happiest period of my life. This song connects the two best times of my life and symbolises the continuity of life. The other song that is really close to my heart is Close to You for the same reason, but instead it connects the lowest points of my life to the highest. It's really beautiful to think about it like that
This reminds me of the first time I discovered undertale aus. I was eleven at the time and fell in love with the game. I even bought in on my birthday from my dad!!! Now I'm turning sixteen in less than a month . What I'm trying to say is. Thank you. People like you are the reason why this community is so spectacular when it comes to fan creations ❤
Looking at all of these comments is interesting to me, because... I never joined the undertale fandom until about three ish years ago, I came late to the party and the heyday was over long before I showed up. I love this fandom and I love seeing people who have been here an awful lot longer then I have showing their nostalgia. It makes me happy to contribute to the fandom with what little I can.

This reminds me of one of the first roleplays I ever got into outside my family. I didn't know what Undertale was at the time, so when I ran into someone roleplaying 'Ink' and being an artist who's for the betterment of the world I was like 'that's on the nose but cute!'. They took me on a really amazing journey, both roleplaying with those characters and discovering Undertale. I don't know where that person is now, but I hope they're doing well.

It's much more than just a remix of Tokyo Teddy Bear, It is a masterpiece for the ears, the combination of instruments used along with its other variants, is simply catchy, unique and energetic. This remix has made me remember the best thing about this community. Creativity, Yes, most are just variations of genocidal routes nowadays, But if we leave that aside, this community has a lot of creativity. And this remix is an example of that. This, this take on "Tokyovania" is truly one of the best out there, it captures so much emotions, it feels so unique, refreshing, so many references to many other songs but captured so differently, the art is also incredible, absolute masterpiece charty.
