I have just purchased a 2022 GSX-S1000 in black. I was interested in this new model because of its new design, updated electronics and most importantly the up and down quick shifter. Cannot wait for a delivery day.
I love the look. Especially once you get ride of that rear license plate holder and put an exhaust and other bits on it. Such a sweet bike. Hoping to get a 2023 soon.

Nice incremental improvements catching up in the tech department to everyone else without having to redesign the bike. A bit lazy if you ask me. But hey, if it ain't broke don't fix it. Looks more modern now with the headlight treatment. Other then that she's up on weight a bit and slightly down on torque. But with the power deliver is improved it will feel slightly faster.
As usual, Suzuki makes small but efficiency and smart improvement to get a good quality/value bike. But 7 years for these… A bit shy to my taste. Hayabusa had much more improvements from previous model. edit : they don’t talk about "warning command" (emergency light command), but new design looks much better than previous (same on my GSXS 750). It was difficult to trigger and untrigger with winter gloves !
Nice bike upgrades but this front face is a little too sharp/aggressive and less refined, I don't really appreciate it, I personally think the actual GSX-S 750 have the best looking headlight...
It's not Suzuki's focus. They deliver the best bang for your buck motorcycle with goog handling, comfort, and just the necessary electronics to make the bike feel as engaging as possible. That's why they don't have those things

I've been waiting for this video to be released before I made my decision but I'm with you! Going to buy a tuono. Power figures are poor, colour scheme is shite, headlight looks awful! Overall, very disappointed with the "update"

@@olliesearle9752 spec sheet warriors. worried about power and handling you can't even use on the road. I'd take the GSX-S over any of the supernakeds. If you rode the GSX-S down your favorite road then jumped on the tuono you wouldn't do it any faster.

This looks amazing, nice job Suzuki. I have a GSX s750 and definitely want to upgrade to one of these in the future. If it handles and sounds anything like the 750 it will be incredible, plus quick shifter/suspension upgrades etc what a weapon. For me what makes motorcycling fun is how it feels to ride and Suzuki in my opinion absolutely nail that without getting bogged down with adding gadgets that only serve to pad out the marketing bumpf when trying to sell bikes, I love that they stick to their philosophy and concentrate on engineering a bike that is mechanically superior and feels amazing to ride
It's damn aggressive in looks but nothing as aggressive and badass as a KTM Super Duke 1290r. Though Suzuki has a greater reliability than KTM. 👍👍👍 Excellent work

Im still waiting for my Oldschool bulletproof 2006 bandit 1200s with 50,000 miles to go kapuut before i will consider buying a new bike...shes still running well after 13yrs of ownership
Not fully adjustable unfortunately I still have to purchase a new shock for my 2016 model probably go for a Nitron. Wish they would of made a state of the art model with a new GSX-R 1000 motor and top of the line suspension with 6 axis imu I thought I was saving money when I purchased mine but compared to the money my one brother spent on his 2019 Triumph speed r i will have spent more on mine and still doesn’t have as good components I have leaned a lesson when he was looking at upgrading from his last bike I told him go for the r model with the imu and top of the line Olin’s suspension it’s cheaper in the long run he is sure glad he listened to me he ended up getting it for the price of the s model because I told him to play bmw s1000 r 2000.00 sale price against Triumph sure enough they matched the sale price! So long story short no way would I upgrade to this bike not until they do a proper hyper naked!!

I bought the bike 3 months ago. A M A Z I N G bike for its money. Why is it that your customer sevice is so 🤬🤬🤬 that (a) they gave me the wrong manual (b) they couldn't understand why I'm complaining (c) I still have 0 updates about receiving the proper one!!!
How much of an update is this to the previous gen when it comes to feel and experience? Would getting a used gsx-s1k and putting $1k of upgrades make it just as good?

150hp from a 1 litre road bike is acceptable...im riding a bandit1200 from the bronze age with only 90ish hp!

@Evo Shift I'd take the GSX-S over the supernakeds because it's a softer "road" bike. I personally prefer that.

The thing that Suzuki should fix is the TFT display panel. Even 250cc bikes, even Kymco Like 150 w/Noodoe system have TFT display panel.

Looks like they fixed the midrange torque dip. Hopefully the ride-by-wire performs well. But I really want to know if they upgraded the shock.
Apparently new internals for the front and completely new shock for the rear

Hope Suzuki redesigns Gixxer 250 in India inspired by GSX-S1000. It will be a game changer for struggling Gixxer 250 despite its good bike.
