Enjoyed that. It must be nearly 30 years since I did the same, or a very similar walk, and haven't been back since. It was quite boggy then as I remember, even though when we got to the falls it was more a trickle than a flood. My walking partner that day kept asking if we were meant to be there, as he was only used to walks with clearly defined paths. I told him we were in true walkers territory now, but he wasn't impressed, and soon after, we stopped walking together. No longer with us, God rest his soul.
That is a sad story Jonathan. It was very boggy and as you say no defined paths but in fairness we are warned in Wainwright's guide. New fencing bars the way to the Pike with no visible stile to get over. However like you were don't share your departed friends assessment as though difficult we loved every second and the lure for us is its ruggedness and remoteness with not a soul in sight. Thank you for your comment and memory of a now departed comrade
great to see you guys back at it!! I've not been able to get across to the lakes for a few months due to some poor health but watching these keeps me going!
Sorry to hear you have not been well. we are back up Feb 26th for a bit of Wainwright's magic. Glad our vids have kept you entertained during your absence from the fells. Really appreciate your comments as always. Hope you make a full recovery soon. Cheers
Wow, great and extended hike in great landscapes, I like it very much! There are great views, also the waterfalls are so beautiful to look, I am very enthusiastic, also everything very sympathetically commented :) a great adventure, very great :)) Best greetings from Germany, Angela
Thank you Angela. Not as professional as your wonderful videos but hopefully we capture the feeling we get when walking in the Lake District. Sending love to Germany from the UK x
Oh no no, I see my videos not as professional, your are also super beautiful. We must not forget that it is only our hobby and we have pleasure in the outdoors and video, the fun should never give way to the unconditional attempted professionalism. I am not a professional photographer, I photograph and film, what my eye captures and I like and try to convert it well in the videos. One learns from video to video and develops itself, but ultimately it should be fun and joy. So I love it as it is, you have the opportunity to get to know a lot of the world :))) Best regards, Angela
I totally agree with you Angela as does David and when we read your reply, which is so eloquently made, we both agreed that you took the words right out of our mouths. Wonderful and thank you. Best regards David and Graham XX

Dave does great for his age, bless him.
Sure does Adrian. He gets all sorts of problems out there but still cracks on. Putting him though an 8 day marathon in May... he can't wait lol
Dry enjoyable cheers lads👍
