Take Me Now is definitely the song of the revolution, the revolution of FTISLAND, the woman and the girl in the MV represents FTISLAND, going against the norm and following their own path. Since their debut, the band always followed the musical style that the company gave them, pop-rock and ballads, more "friendly" music for the Korean public, and the company did not let them include the songs that the members composed. But that was not the style of music the members wanted, in fact if you listen to their discography in Japan you can tell the difference (I recommend you react to Be Free, Shadow and Neverland)... The album "I Will" released in 2015 was their first Korean album with songs completely Self-composed, I recommend you reactions to "Pray" in the MV you can notice the strong rock style, Hongki fought with the CEO over this album and "Take Me Now" is its successor.
Since you love this one, you should watch "Pray". The backstory on that song is about the Sewol Ferry tragedy from 2014.

They already did heavy rock music in their Japanese albums, but were not allowed to in SK because the public there really don't like rock much, so they were forced to have a more dramatic and softer sound, but that wasn't the kind of music they wanted to make. In the album before this one they started their "sound revolution" in their Korean albums as they finally gained a lot more creative control.
Fun fact…Hong Ki is good friends with Taka from One Ok Rock. I need a duet. Love them both.

I've followed FTIsland for over a decade. They are the reason I love one ok rock. They are the Korea version of oor. You can't pin them down on a particular style. And to find out the 2 lead singers are good friends makes me giddy. I like way FTIsland before oor and because of my love for them I was introduced to oor. This one is one of my favorite of them. ❤❤❤😊
This "I Hope" and "Out Of Love" are among my faves!

Japanese called FTISLAND as best band after OneOkRock in their country. That's how good they are!
Lead singer Lee Hong-Gi is awesome with a distinctive voice he is also an amazing actor, I think I've watched most everything he has been in!
I was lucky to see the band live in March this year. Amazing energy and unbelievable vocal power by LHG. ❤

This is the title track from the second album (where's the truth ...?, 2016) where they had artistic freedom and therefore went a lot harder, the first one being Pray from album "I will" that came out the year before. This is very much a continuation of their musical revolution and the genre shift that they began with I will. You really should check out Pray, as that too is full of symbolism as they venture outside the box ... Or blow it up, if you will. I'm really curious to hear your take on that one.

I love Lee Hong-gi's voice and FT Island music, but I have to admit it's hard to watch this after watching BBC's recent Burning Sun documentary and revisiting CJH's part in that.

About FTISLAND is that the company made them follow too much what the trend is about or what the korean public is more used to. Take me now what their freedom scream as they could use a self produced song for promotions. So what happens with them is that their best songs are mostly their bsides and japanese releases. But there is the option to look for their concerts too, they rearranged a lot of their songs for their concerts in a more heavy sound and itsd amazing
