- A short film that celebrates the amazing diversity of wildlife, the stunning landscapes and the geological wonders of Northern Morocco - all the way from the mighty Rif Mountains to the blue waters of the Mediterranean Sea.
In the Rif Mountains of Morocco, we see the endangered Barbary Macaques and a host of other wildlife in Talassemtane National Park. Other than the various species of birds, reptiles and amphibians in Talassemtane National Park, we will also see the stunning God's Bridge - a spectacular geological site.
Nestled in the Rif Mountains, is the iconic blue city of Chefchaouen. We show how not only is Chefchaouen a superb ancient city filled with beauty at every turn, but that it is also home to a surprising array of wildlife too (if you know where to look!)
Finally, we visit the Mediterranean Sea, which spans the north of Morocco. Here we find a host of different birds species that rest and recover on freshwater marshes. Rare species, such as Audouin's Gulls find the protection they need on the undisturbed rocks and shores of this Mediterranean coastline.
Filmed on location over 4 days in September 2024. Special thanks to Mohamed Elkhoumsi & Desert Majesty for helping us find these wonderful places in Morocco.
